Dream Vegas Casino Review Jump to comments
Dream Vegas, Baby! Let's take a look at a White Hat Gaming (WHG) managed online casino launched in mid-2018. WHG manages the site on behalf of Caddell Limited N.V., which holds licenses with the UKGC, the Malta Gaming Authority, and Curacao Egaming - that covers every part of the world that the games are allowed to be played in. Unfortunately, that doesn't include the US due to licensing and brand restrictions.
Dream Vegas is a white label property. In essence, that means that only the regulators usually know who 'owns' the label. Players probably couldn't care less about a marketing company (label owner, Ivy Affiliates) because the site is managed by WHG under license from the Gambling Commission in the UK and other regulators. All backend processes including customer service, payment processing, KYC verification etc., are handled by Caddell/WHG along with the business of about 25 other white labels under their control. Unrelated WHG/Caddell whitelabels include 666 and Gate777.
This means that we need to not only look at the 3 properties WHG operates as their own - 21Prive, G'Day, and Mainstage Bingo - we need to look at how they handle other white labels including sister-sites Spin Rider, Miami Dice, Casimba, and Grand Ivy to predict what players can expect.
The three main sites (G'Day et al) seem to enjoy a little more attention from representatives quickly handling any disputes that appear on the public boards. There were no outstanding or unresolved complaints as of review time. The white label properties present a slightly different picture, however, but open issues may be the result of poor resolution management by webmasters, or representatives not following up to announce closure. Many players tend to simply disappear after getting paid as well, rather than updating their cases. This makes it difficult to know for certain if issues are resolved. We can report, per the UKGC, that none of the nearly 30 licensed properties has any sanctions or other actions recorded. This is good news!
Some complaints we saw were a player suffering a major loss as they didn't read the terms which do not allow for welcome bonuses when depositing with Skrill or Neteller. Another is of a player wanting a large payout and neither the player nor Miami Dice returning to a resolution board to update the end result after nearly half a year. Other minor disputes involved wagering requirements and breaking max bet terms while playing with a bonus.
With this in mind, we would suggest that players use one of the more responsive resolution services such as LCB forums - for those who can, Malta or the UKGC. All in all, for nearly 30 separate operations we don't see a problem with WHG/Caddell sites, so let's move on to what is on offer and enjoy some play time!
Software and Games
Customer support, compliance, hosting, communications (excepting dispute follow-up), development, licenses, payment processing, and the affiliate programs all operate like parts of a well-oiled machine and that only leaves third-party game providers to round out the White Hat Gaming platform. The 'what you see is what you get' portion of Dream Vegas.
Your login location will determine which providers' games are displayed, so if you see it, you can probably play it. Logging in from Asia we find 42 separate suppliers, but our German desk finds only 12. Common between most markets are 1X2Gaming, 2BY2, Aristo, Bally, Barcrest, BigTime, BlaBlaBla, ELK, Felt, Foxium, and Evolution so no matter where you sign up from the choice is good to great and will be in line with what other operators can offer your market. If you can normally play NetEnt or Microgaming games, you'll be able to find them here.
The display, navigation, and filtering systems are one of the best out there for mobile or desktop play. The lobby is actually a joy to interface. They do mix live and RNG animated games in the tables section but it's easy to swipe or scroll past the dealer tables if you prefer the speed of random number generator blackjack, punto banco, or roulette. Be sure to check out some of the Felt Gaming offerings, like 6 in 1 Blackjack. There are six optional side bets available on each hand including 21+3, perfect pairs, suit'em up, and lucky ladies. We were able to access all except live dealer suites in fun/practice mode without registering an account.
While there may not be hundreds of progressive jackpot slots, you will find some fat pots and great newer games like Leander's Apollo God of the Sun along with old-time MGS favorites like King Cashalot, Mega Fortune from NetEnt, and others from developers such as Blueprint where available.
The live dealer suite offers table limits for nearly everyone. The 'poker' tab includes video poker and live Caribean Stud, Casino Hold'em, 3-card poker, etc. All games, including live tables, play as well on a phone or tablet as on the big screen.
While you might think to find arcade games and reactors mixed in the 'scratch & fun' category, you may be surprised to come across some great scratch games from Probability Jones and NYX owned companies along with virtual sports from 1X2 like Virtual World Cup, Champions, and Soccer. You can try them for free if you are unfamiliar with the genre - the action is virtually unlimited!
Bonuses and Promotions
Be sure to check terms before accepting a bonus, while nearly industry-wide now, some players still get caught out depositing with Neteller or Skrill, taking a bonus, and forfeiting their winnings as it is against the terms.
Terms for each individual bonus are displayed in accord with UKGC and other requirements, but you'll need to go into the site-wide promo terms in order to find certain conditions like max bet, and items such as 7.(vii) "Deposits made via Skrill or Neteller are not eligible for the welcome bonus and if taken, any winnings will be confiscated."
Loyalty points accrue at different rates for some games with roulette and blackjack accumulating at a rate of 8:1 and 4:1 less than slots or scratch cards respectively. Loyalty points may be awarded on first deposit.
Banking and Customer Service
Use your credit card, debit card, or eWallet to deposit and withdraw to your preferred method. Withdrawals can remain pending for 1-2 days before processing. Winnings of $100,000 or more can be doled out at 10 percent every month for 10 months. The most you can win, not counting progressives, is $250,000 and they are not obligated to pay any more than that. Progressive wins over $250k can take up to 30 days to be paid.
Support is available 24/7 via email or immediate live chat.
Pitfalls
While a $99,999 single withdrawal is fair business, waiting 10 months for anything more may not be appealing to some players. High rollers will want to watch their stakes so they don't win more than a quarter-million. Skill/Neteller term should be included in basic bonus information.
The Final Word
While the 'reputation' team may be overwhelmed at times with about 30 properties to take care of, and the eWallet restrictions on bonus play should be stated earlier or more prominently, we don't find any outright malfeasance, chicanery, or sneaky business in the history of White Hat Gaming, Caddell, or the label owners. With perhaps thousands of games to play depending on your location, a stable platform with all parts working in harmony, multiple licenses and an eCOGRA approval and 24/7 customer service, Dream Vegas looks like a great place to play.
