Gamdom Casino is a new-age hybrid online real money gaming site that offers the best of all worlds for online play. What started as a Bitcoin gambling site with few options has become a full-service multi-purpose online casino with a real difference.

The site is licensed in Curacao and operated by Smein Hosting N.V. Unlike most online gaming sites the owners and managers do not hide their identities - that’s because it was not always an online casino, but it’s always been about gambling.

Gamdom started as a skin gaming and eSports site back in 2016. CS:GO (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, a free-to-download first-person shooter PC war game) was the main thrust and you can still visit that section of the site to bet on video game players and teams in the competitions - but you never need to if you don’t want to.

The site also offers in-play and predictive sports betting - but again if all you want is slots and a little blackjack now and then you would never really know.

The backbone though, for aficionados of BTC gambling sites, is not the live casino, RNG table games, or nearly 3,000 slots from top-tier developers and providers - but the Crash, Roulette, and HiLo games - each with their own huge potential wins and unique onsite jackpots. We’ll get into those more later in the review.

Money processing is handled through Vilnius IT Solutions UAB, but players aren’t actually required to deposit using cryptocurrency - your regular plastic or virtual card should work just fine. You will need a crypto wallet to cash out though.

The site accepts very small minimum deposits (~€0.89/$1) and offers a reasonable minimum withdrawal of €20. There is technically no limit on the amount you can cash out - but - if you ever reach a balance of €120,000.00 you will be cashed out automatically and can continue to play. Banking rules are very liberal and the site allows players to ‘tip’ each other, so you can send a buddy something to play with after a big win if you want to.

If you can see a colorful game title you can probably play it. We visited from the US with a Canadian VPN and some games were presented in shades of gray with a mouseover popup informing us, “We’re sorry. This game is disabled for your country.”

We weren’t able to try any titles from the following providers:

We also tested the site from Japan, New Zealand, Canada, Norway, and the Netherlands all with good results.

It’s a highly social website with chat available at all times and customer service available through multiple social media channels. You can even put up your own Slots Battle.

The addition of regular online casino games is a recent development. We don’t find any valid complaints, resolved or otherwise on the major advocate boards or player review forums. Strangely enough, we find over 4,000 reviews on Trust Pilot. I rarely give that site much weight but I’ll usually read five or six pages of them if there are more than several hundred reviews.

This site presents a conundrum. The overall star rating is currently 3.6 out of five. However, the first few pages are all one-star reviews. Seventy percent of reviewers have given it a 5-star rating of “excellent” and five percent have said it is “bad”.

While many of the responses are rote, and they do answer most complaints there, many others are personalized and solve problems or at least explain what happened and why. Sore losers, shills for other sites, and run-of-the-mill trolls can be hard to sort from genuine reviews.

I tend to think that many of the complaints on that board are from players who are not familiar with how casino gaming actually works - they are either eSports bettors, sports betters, or long-time players who have only played the three BTC games in the past. Slots can be streaky, roulette can be streaky, and all truly random games can run hot or cold - it’s the nature of random and is more a result of volatility than randomness or even theoretical return to player percentage (RTP).

We do see some valid inquiries and the representatives addressed them properly in this reviewer’s opinion. In one reply dated August 22, 2021, the representative explained the following:

Lag - Website has been updated so there should be no lag from the server side now

Chat moderators - Aren’t allowed to allow rule-breaking if it is a ‘joke’, it allows others to skirt and breach the rules so one standard for all

Minimum withdrawals - Since Gamdom pays the fees on withdrawals the minimum cashout amount can go up and down for BTC and ETH when the market is unstable and tx fees are high. The rep suggested using BCH and LTC as they always maintain low minimum withdrawals

Slow email support - The team assured the player they were working on it.

From all I’ve been able to gather, casino players will find a slightly different culture here but are likely to experience instant cashouts after KYC (document verification). There doesn’t appear to be any lack of liquidity and some games have instant cash out if you enable it - win, cash out automatically. And then there is the systemwide auto-cashout whenever an account hits a balance of €120,000.00.

When choosing from all providers and sorting by most popular, we found the results tracked well with data we had recently uncovered from SoftSwiss that ranked the most popular games and providers on their aggregator platform. While this site is most likely not powered by SoftSwiss, Pragmatic Play, and Evolution are two providers that appear on both lists as do some of their games.

We found Hacksaw, Play ‘N GO, and Relax Gaming near the top of the list as well followed by titles from NoLimit City, and Push Gaming. A few screens down we also found an exclusive title by Caleta Gaming (normally most well-known for video bingos in LatAm markets). The game was Gamdom Strike!

The initial splash screen is one that portends terrible trouble with graffiti-laden machine guns and a bullet hole-ridden backdrop. Then you will have a choice to join the Special Forces or the Rebels in the base game. You can change your side in the base gameplay later, no worries. The team you choose will help determine the symbols you see in the game but the payouts per ‘tier’ remain the same - one team is no different than the other in regard to game maths.

The game seems to be inspired by Counter-Strike: Global Offensive which is known by eSports players more simply as CS:GO. Caleta Gaming and Gamdom take you straight to the battlefield in slot play where an enchanted cash payout of up to 15,000x your wager could fall into your lap.

Another Exclusive Title we found here is provided by BGaming. The game is Glinko - which name lends itself to being guessed at as a portamento of Gamdom and Plinko. If that was your thought as well, you were correct.

Glinko is stone-cold simple looking and the theoretical return to player percentage (RTP) is super high at 99.16%. The minimum bet is $1 and the max bet is $100. The paytable doesn’t state a max win potential as such, however, you can win 5.6x your bet at the lowest risk level or as much as 1000x at the highest level of risk. There is also a middle-risk setting.

This type of game as well as crash games, Hi Los, and some dice games can be a great way to save your ‘skin’ and get back into the game with a small bankroll. The Final Word

Gamdom is the kingdom of gambling and has grown by leaps and bounds since first launching in 2016. The site has maintained the community feeling and “time-one” crypto-gambling games while bringing modern slots and live casino gaming on board. It all works so well together that this reviewer wonders why it’s such a unique concept or so hard for others to pull off. Gamdom is a true gem.

There’s really no reason not to register here and play with a very small starting bankroll to get a sense of what you might be missing. Microwagers are accepted on some of the games and you can always check out other parts of the site that might interest you. Personally, I prefer rakeback and cashback to encumbering my funds with a deposit bonus for the most part but each player is different. If I get lucky, I just want my money, and the sooner the better.
