EVERYGAME Classic Casino Review Jump to comments
EVERYGAME Casino Classic is a new name for Intertops Classic which originally launched in 2013. The pioneering online gambling company, taking bets online since 1996, has rebranded and continues to offer players in the USA and elsewhere Wager Gaming (WGS) titles and other proprietary games on the same platform with a new name.
About the only difference you might notice if you aren’t in Germany is that players there no longer figure prominently in the tournaments as the new brand will no longer accept residents of Germany.
More for the rest of us?
Perhaps…
Especially considering the ‘must pay by’ jackpot slots and tournament prizes that were collected so often by our fellow players in the Land of Ideas. We’ll miss them but the game must go on!
If you came by here looking for the original Intertops (now simply EVERYGAME) with the random jackpot Real Series slots, poker network, and sportsbook you can find the EVERYGAME review here as well. In this one, we’ll be taking a closer look at the younger sibling, CLASSIC.
What you’ll find here are 3 Reel Slots, Video Slots, Video Poker, Blackjack, Table Games, Progressive Slots, Keno, and a place to store your personal favorites.
The Intertops company has always been shrouded in a bit of mystery - not opaqueness, just intrigue, and mystery. After all, the founder accepted the very first recorded bet over the internet, EVER. They must know anybody who’s anybody and they must be doing something right to keep the lights on all these years - especially for American players.
We won’t go down the rabbit hole of associations from the 1983 sportsbook to the change in direction in 2009 - well after publicly traded companies left the US market (Intertops Green ran on the Microgaming platform in those days) or even the first launch of this particular operation under a different name in 2013.
However, even though it’s not instantly related to this site, it is the same company so it is fair to examine a bit of history, in perspective, and perhaps scratch our heads a little as to how an operator could serve up games, year after year, in places like America with Her ever-changing laws and interpretations of law without amassing thousand’s of complaints in all that time.
Or… perhaps we won’t. That’s fair too. There’s not much to look at. There’s not a certain class of player or certain type of issue, or even a random set of disputes to look at. People just don’t have problems here as long as they understand the rules and play by them. A bet laid is a bet paid.
Personally, I have always been paid when I won there. It’s as easy to win or lose as almost any other online gambling site. I don’t play there as often these days since other operators have come along with instant Bitcoin payouts, but sure… I’ll take a bonus now and then or do a straight deposit when I don’t mind waiting up to three days to see my money. It’s always been like “money in the bank” even if I go pick up cash from a personal wire.
I guess that’s all the history that's fit to print. I’m not a sports bettor, and no sports are offered here. I’m not much of a poker player and the game isn’t found here either. I can only speak to the casino side of things because that’s how I’ve gambled online since the 1990s.
All US-facing online gambling sites have had issues in the past - mostly related to that silly law they passed back in 2006 that didn’t have the guts or teeth to try to outlaw online gambling, so they messed with payment processing instead.
EVERYGAME, by any other name, is the same as it ever was. Don’t try to cheat them - no matter how clever you might think you are, and they’ll be as good as gold to you. That’s been my experience and that of every other trusted player I’ve read about or known personally.
So...
Let’s dig in!
We’ll look at the software and games, then spend a little time on the bonuses and try to help you decide which ones might be best for you. Of course, banking and customer service are all important elements to examine as well! Once we have fleshed out any important terms and conditions I’ll put together a bulleted list of anything we have discovered you might want to look out for. At the conclusion, we’ll wrap it all up with a final word or two.
Let’s start with...
Software and Games
EVERYGAME Classic Casino offers over 120 different slots along with video poker, blackjack, and table games that you can try for free without needing to download software or register an account. To take a look for yourself, simply find the VISIT button on this page or claim one of the bonuses listed near the top of this page to play for real money.
The layout is simple and the browser-based instant play site is easy to navigate. Along the left of your screen on a desktop or tablet. If you visit using a mobile device, just click the three horizontal lines in the upper left and the menu will fly out and disappear again when you tap again or make a choice.
The game categories are not unique, but the games you find under them are. This is WGS Technology software along with a few proprietary games developed for the brand. Many of the games date back to the “English Harbor” days of internet gambling but were actually created by NextGen of Australia and licensed by the original WGS software developers in the 1990s and early 2000s under the Odds On or Vegas Tech names in America as well as by Cryptologic (in 9-line versions) for Europe.
Some of the titles were even modified slightly and used by Party Gaming, which is now part of Entain, via a bWin.party merger/acquisition with GVC Holdings - making them the biggest online gambling concern in the world at the time.
Not to digress too far, but there is a rich history here…
The Australian studio that created most of the legacy games found here was NextGen which was later acquired by NYX, and then that conglomerate was merged into Scientific Games, the world’s largest instant win lottery provider. Interestingly enough, that division has been slated for sale to another Aussie legend, Aristocrat for over $6b.
We mentioned we wouldn’t go down the rabbit hole with EVERYGAME (formerly Intertops) industry associations, but you could write a book on them.
Visitors will find a great selection of newer and older games in the following categories:
- 3 Reel Slots
- Video Slots
- Video Poker
- Blackjack
- Table Games
- Progressive Slots
- Keno
There is also a portal or link to visit the tournament section, another for your favorites, and finally a Promotions button. We’ll cover tournaments and promotions in a later section. If you already have favorites and are visiting this page for another reason please feel free to leave any comments below.
I personally have many favorites here, not the least of which is the three-reel slots. I know, I know, you might be wondering why someone who has been gambling online for almost as long as there has been a World Wide Web would want to play stodgy old 3-reelers when there are slots out there with over 100,000 ways to win on every spin.
Well, that’s easy for me to answer in one word…
JACKPOTS!!!
Look in the progressives section or directly under 3 Reel Slots to find progressive jackpot games like 3x Cool Cherry, Ultimate 10x, and X Lucky 7s with Wild X among others for jackpot games with a cutoff on how high the jackpot can grow before it must be won.
Each of the games will clearly display the “Must Win Value” next to the actual amount of the current jackpot for that game. Find the ones that are approaching the explosion point and play those for the best chance to win a sizable jackpot.
I recall a couple of years back, a lady had won a few dollars in a tournament, a freeroll if I remember right, and after turning the winnings into cash went into the progressives and won about $20,000. Holda moment please… yes, there it is World Casino News, August 12, 2017.
“As luck would have it, a player named Kim D. brought it down when it reached $20,000 on July 20. In a nearly unbelievable twist of fate, she had just won $2 in a free tournament. She took her winning to 7x Lucky Seven and bet 3 cents. BOOM, $20 grand just like that!”
I guess that brings us to...
Tournaments at EVERYGAME Classic…
The nuts and bolts explanation would be that the casino has a fully integrated WGS tournament schedule that runs 24/7. Mobile and desktop users get the same interface and around-the-clock events include various slots, blackjack, and video poker competitions. There are plenty of paid events and re-buys for those who take their competition seriously, but you’ll also find free-roll keno tournaments and slots tournaments.
I’m not a huge fan of some competitions, especially those where I can’t really chat with my peers, so I just dip in for a freeroll now and then and I’ve been able to build a bankroll from nothing more than once. One of those led to a nice 4-digit cashout. That’s not to say that I will never buy in. Some of the prize pools are very juicy, especially around holidays.
I have to admit I do enjoy practicing some bankroll management strategy in these competitions, it’s much more exciting than some provider tournaments that simply award the highest-scoring winner, and it definitely is nothing like being surrounded by a crowd of players near the entrance at a land casino just hammering the spin button as fast as they can in hopes of hitting a big win before their time or runs out.
Video slots
When I visited today I was disappointed to see that Genesis Gaming’s Grail Maiden has been removed from the catalog. Now I’m afraid to even visit Ignition or Bovada to see if they still carry Genesis games. But if you are a slots maven like I am, please take a close look at Amanda Panda and the Jackpot Journey to see whether or not you think it might have originated in the Genesis labs and studios. I’m no longer as sure as I once was about that.
I’m also not sure just where the math labs and studios are that created some of my other favorite games here like Cash Cow, Dog Gone it, and… well, that one has been pulled too and I can’t even recall the title. But that’s okay! There are plenty of newer games for me to explore like Crazy Cat Lady with 100 lines and a progressive jackpot, Basketball Legends Street Challenge, Hero School All for One, and The Defenders from Dragon Gaming.
Blackjack, table games, video poker
Here are a few of the classic floor games available on the platform:
- Blackjack
- Roulette
- Casino Hold'em
- Baccarat
- Craps
- Red Dog Poker
- Pai Gow Poker
- Mulligan Poker
Look for at least eight blackjack variants including classic, Atlantic City, Vegas Strip, Vegas Single Deck, and Perfect Pairs to name a small handful of them.
There are more than a dozen video poker titles, some of them “Multi-Pay” variants - which really just means they are multi-hand versions of the same games.
Bonuses and Promotions
There’s always some sort of incentive to play if you like bonuses. Depositing players get extra spins, there are deposit bonuses and some can be used multiple times, and if you can’t decide between spins and matching money you can opt for both with a “Daily Double” bonus.
Comp points never expire and the redeemed exchange only has to be wagered through 1x in order to cash out points or your winnings from playing the points. As it should be everywhere, comp point winnings have no max cashout provision.
The conversion value is significantly more generous here than in many other places as well.
Wagering just $625 on slots, rather than $1,000 will generate 1000 points worth $1 upon conversion. Players get double comps points when they play the chosen double-comp games for the month. Each month new games are listed on a dedicated page. There’s always plenty of variety.
Deposit bonuses are usually available every day of the week.
Banking and Customer Service
The cashier here works almost exactly as it does for the SpinLogic/RTG EVERYGAME Casino. You make a deposit (buy chips), then transfer your chips into your casino account.
In fact, if you have an account at both, you can access and transfer chips from that site to this one, your poker account, or to the sportsbook - however, that’s not the case here. At Classic, you’ll simply buy chips that will go to your EVERYGAME wallet, and then you can transfer the chips to your Classic account with a single click.
Deposit options are plentiful. And because the operation started as a sportsbook, the cashier offers several 'alternative' banking methods that you can find on the site once logged in or discover by talking to a customer service agent.
Use a debit or credit card, Bitcoin or Altcoins, or look for alternatives in the cashier to deposit.
There are even more options when it comes to getting your winnings home, but again, mum is the word on those here. Players can rest assured they will get their cashouts on time every time.
But that brings us to “time”...
This is not an ‘instant pay’ operation. After documents have been approved (you have to prove your identity to avoid money laundering suspicions) the cashier will hold your withdrawal in pending status for 48 hours. Payouts are only processed on weekdays, so depending on when you initiate your request, up to 2 days could be added to the time it takes to process and deliver your funds after the pending period.
Cryptocurrency payments are the fastest with a 48-hour timeframe and bank wires are the slowest with a wait of 10-15 business days before your funds are available to spend.
Only one withdrawal is allowed in any 7-day period, and all withdrawal methods except cryptos incur fees.
Note: Players in Australia, Austria, Germany, the United Kingdom, and France are not allowed to register, and you must have an account to play any games in demo mode. EVERYGAME reserves the right to refuse new registrations from the United States.
Customer service
Representatives are available via email or live chat. Questions about money can only be attended to on weekdays.
Pitfalls
- Long cashout pending period (48 hours)
- Fees for most withdrawal methods
- Minimum withdrawal limit ($100 BTC/$150 check, bank wire)
- Maximum withdrawal limits ($3,000 check, all others $2,500)
The Final Word
EVERYGAME Classic Casino offers a nice diversion with fun games, great bonuses, and a trusted operator for players in the USA and elsewhere. Everything we discovered about the operation seems to be exactly as it was under the Intertops Casino Classic brand except for the new restriction on German players. Switzerland and other Nordic countries are still welcome as are Canadian players - but unfortunately, it isn’t available to players in the UK or Australia.
The great game selection with titles running from the 1990s right up to today, solid operators who believe that a bet laid is a bet paid, near-constant bonusing, and guaranteed ways to get your money into and out of the cashier make this a must-add to most online player’s arsenal of casinos.
That said, while payouts are as sweet as Tupelo honey, they also get to you about as fast as molasses pours on a winter day - but the treat will always make it to your plate in the prescribed amount of time. It just won’t be today or tomorrow. No gambling site is perfect for everybody and metered payouts, no more than once per week are the tradeoff here for everything else you get.
I’d give it a spin, in fact, I already do. It’s just not my #1 choice for daily play because of the pending time on withdrawals - but I don’t let that stop me from having occasional fun!
