Arrow’s Edge debuted their games at Drake Casino and Gossip Slots in 2014. We're not sure where the development labs are, but might assume the games are a bespoke development for the two casinos and may be available at other venues in the future. As of October 2014, the bulk of their slots games are re-purposed NextGen slots with random jackpot enhancements added. We currently find 5 Arrows Edge games that can be played in HTML browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari - and over 30 that run in a separate, smaller Java window. The digital signature on the Java certificate is from Lago Ranco B.V. in Willemstad Curacao, a casino licensing jurisdiction with 4 Master Licenses and many sub-licensees, many of which are well-known casino brands.Arrow’s Edge Casino Games
Of the five games that can currently be played in a regular browser window without a Java applet, there are slots and two are video poker games. The five reel Around the World, Chef Wars, and Game of Kings slots seem to be original creations not seen anywhere else. The classic casino games, such as blackjack, are basic and without any bells or whistles. They load fast and play smoothly, but if you are accustomed to "Pro" or "Gold" Series games with multiple user controls, rich graphics nearing 3D quality, and sound suites in stereo these games may not impress.
As mentioned in the introduction, the other slots that download with the Arrow's Edge logo in the Java controlled browser window were originally developed by NextGen Gaming and were some of the Australian company's inaugural offerings. Some of these games, in slightly different configurations, can still be seen at PartyGaming Casino and were, for years, believed to be developed by Party. Others are seen at Wager Gaming (former Vegas Technology and previously OddsOn) casinos. These games have been misattributed to Vegas Tech by most reviewers since their collective launch. As an aside, other games developed by NextGen have been known as Cryptologic and even Playtech, when in fact they were simply developed for, and licensed by, the casinos and games providers.
What we see different about the Arrow's Edge versions of all time popular slots like Metropolis, Kanga Cash, and Goanna Gold as well as Rockin Robin, is that a random jackpot feature has been added and the casinos refer to them as Cash Grab slots because of this. The random jackpot can be awarded to any player on any spin regardless of the amount bet. Rather than being symbol-driven, it doesn't matter what symbols fall on the reels - the jackpot is awarded more like a raffle than anything else. In addition to about 25 three and five reel video slots, there are also Cash Grab video poker games that will award random jackpots.
The classic casino suite of Arrow's Edge games includes roulette, craps, blackjack, baccarat, pai gow poker, Jacks or Better video poker, and several specialty games including keno and red dog. There is also a High Rollers suite with about 8 games available in Java.
All of the currently released Arrow’s Edge online casino games can be found at Drake Casino. Drake accepts players from the US except for Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, New York, and Washington.
