EVERYGAME Casino Review Jump to comments
EVERYGAME Casino is a USA Friendly online gambling site known until 2021 as Intertops, or more recently as Intertops Red. Originally launched as a betting site in 1996, the site added casino games in 1998, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Today, the gambling hub offers over 150 casino games, slots, progressive jackpots, blackjack, and specialty games along with a sportsbook and poker client. We’ll focus on gambling games in this review.
Like the site itself, the game provider has changed its name. The games are still delivered over the Realtime Gaming (RTG) platform but game provenance is now attributed to Spin Logic. This can be found by scrolling to the very end of the paytable or the help file for any of the slot games.
We don’t have any real indication that ownership has changed here or at the game provider level. The only difference we find in the product compared to the legacy Intertops Red brand is they have pulled out of the German market. That’s not surprising considering the fact the company was started there in the 1980s and the German states have recently created a gambling compact and regulatory framework that only a select few operators have chosen to participate in.
Every indication is that nothing else has changed - it’s a new brand name.
If you were looking for the former Intertops Casino Classic, please see our EVERYGAME Classic Casino review. That iteration was launched in 2013 on the WGS Technologies (Wager Gaming) platform and was rebranded at the same time as this brand.
The history
We won’t spend much time on this section other than to note that the company started as a German sportsbook operation in 1983. The site came online in 1996 and accepted the first internet bet ever. In 1998 they added casino games, and except for a brief interlude in 2011 they have always accepted play from Americans.
While the primogenitor of this brand name did not create the first online slot and table game remote gambling site (that distinction belongs to Gaming Club), it did take the first-ever bet over the internet and launched its gaming site so far back that only a very small handful of others can say they are as seasoned.
The operator weathered every storm any other has in the US market. Their number one customer base evaporated overnight when new laws made payment processing difficult (since online is and has always been legal in the United States at the federal level), they suffered payment processing problems, etc.
It seemed a good thing to get back to the USA, so Intertops left the Microgaming network in 2009 and launched the Red site on RTG that year.
And that, more or less, brings us up to date...
There’s not much to report of the intervening dozen-plus years. People deposit, take a bonus or not, gamble, win or lose, send in their documents, get paid, etc. Of course, with any operation that’s been online for so long, there will be a scattered mass of moans, groans, and grumbles. It’s hard to find valid complaints. Nearly all of the publicly posted problems have been down to a player error of one type or another.
We find a singular instance of a player breaking certain terms in regard to transferring funds between sports and casino wallets and taking bonuses on the recycled money in direct contravention of the terms and conditions.
Some observers found it unfair that the operator let the player lose while breaking the rules but enforced the rule when they won. Balderdash. You don’t get a refund for trying to work the system. Cheaters cheat, losers lose, and grifters grift. If they want to be paid they simply shouldn’t try to cheat the operator in the first place. Problem solved.
Software and Games
The games lobby is available in three different ways.
- Download
- Instant Play
- Mobile
Desktop download
Desktop and other Windows users can download the RTG client for desktop play. This is the best way to get your hands on all of the Legacy RTG games that are still in circulation. All of the mobile games and all of the browser-based games are available along with quite a few legacy slots, video poker variants, and specialty games that have not been fully converted to HTML5 yet.
Some of the games are gems and a few of them are sort of duds. I would expect titles like Monster Mayhem, Triton’s Treasures, White Rhino, and classics like Realm of Riches to eventually be ported over to cover all three channels. I don’t expect the small batch of games that came out in the late 2000s to pull muster. Games like London Inspector, Boy King’s Treasure, Wooden Boy, and Roberta’s Castle seem to have been jinxed since their release and subsequent renamings.
Instant play for browsers
No matter what operating system you use - PC, Mac, Linux, etc., over 150 games are available for instant play on the RTG platform. All it takes is a fairly modern web browser and an internet connection for the entire casino infrastructure as well as the games to open for you.
HTML5 framework games with stereo sound, cool animations, and fast load times populate this library.
Mobile
You don’t need to install any apps to play on your mobile Android, iOS, or other devices. This channel works just like the instant play version but the game selection is just slightly different. There are a scant few games that are still, as of EVERYGAME lunchtime, stuck between the worlds of the abandoned Flash technology, standard HTML5, and mobile-optimized HTML5 formats.
If you are missing your favorite game simply switch to another channel to find it for now. They should all be homogenized to omnichannel as time goes by. The great news is that all of the newer Spin Logic titles are released on all three channels at the same time, so if you aren’t a legacy RTG player, you will not even notice some of the games are only available on download for the time being.
Navigation
Getting around the lobby and back-office functions is easy. There are direct paths to anything you would want to do from registering a new account or updating your password or other personal information to choosing a withdrawal method and initiating a cash-out.
First-time users might be a little confused with the cashier section, but most of the elements there can be ignored most of the time if you don’t plan to transfer funds between the casino and sportsbook on a regular basis. We’ll take a quick look at that process in a later section, it’s easy to understand. For now, we’ll look at the games on tap here.
The games
Most of the games in the EVERYGAME arsenal are slot titles, but as the name intimates, you will find every type of gambling game here including blackjack and roulette, video poker, bingo, keno, and Sic Bo. Look for a variety of card games like Tri Card Poker, Pai Gow, and a progressive jackpot enabled Let’Em Ride and three Caribbean poker games that share a jackpot pool so it grows fast and pays well when you bet that extra $1 and get a Royal.
Most, but not all of the video slots here come with one or more random progressive jackpots. A major or minor jackpot can be won on any spin - no matter how many lines you have staked or how much you are betting per line. Common sense would dictate that the more you bet, the better your chance of winning one - but they are randomly awarded and jackpots fall for low-rolling players all the time.
Look for legacy games like Achillies, Aztec’s Riches, Caesars Empire, Cleopatra’s Gold, Derby Dollars, Regal Riches, and other international favorites alongside new games with unique and innovative bonus rounds as well as second and third-screen games.
Slots
There’s a lot of variety in the most populated category, but the software makes it easy to find just the kind of game you want to play. Yes, it’s always fun to scan the game icons and click on one that appeals by theme, jackpot size, or memory. However, there are a lot of tools to refine your search if you are more of a cerebral player.
While scrolling through the slots you can check for more information on any game. The dropdown or mouseover will describe details like the number of paylines, the volatility, the jackpot amount, and special symbols.
You can also use the menu along the top and hover over or tap to see a dropdown list to choose 3-reels, 4-reel, 5-reel, and even 6-reel games. Line counts range from 3 paylines up to 50 before you even get into all ways pay games with over 3,000 virtual paylines.
New games
New titles are rolled out at least once each month adding to the fun. Of course, most moths players can look forward to more than one new release with special seasonal entries as well as revamped Spin Logic versions of some of the time-honored RTG favorites. A few of the network-wide progressive jackpot slots have gotten the Deluxe treatment as has Achilles and the hard nut to crack, Asgard. These revamped titles usually come with fixed paylines and new maths models to go with enhanced artwork, stunning animations, and expansive soundscapes.
Blackjack and video poker
Spin Logic has put a new spin on many of these RTG classics with updated user interfaces and smoother gameplay. The rules and paytables haven’t changed, and the games are still all iTech Labs certified. You can click the international accreditated random number generator and gaming software lab logo on the bottom of the page to view the certificate for yourself.
Blackjack tiles include:
- 21 Blackjack
- European Blackjack
- Super 21
- Perfect Pairs
- Suit’ Em Up
The rules are one click away so it’s easy to adjust your strategy and the RTP is very high on most of these games. Of course, if you opt for an optional side bet the odds go down on your total wager, but the gambit can add excitement and volatility to the game with much higher payouts on a lucky hand played right.
Video poker
Single-hand versions have all been converted to state-of-the-art HTML5 for mobile and browser instant play. Currently, if you want t play multi-hand versions of any of the games you will need to download the legacy desktop client.
The multi-hand video poker on the download client is currently still in a clunky transition stage of being converted from the Flash player version to HTML5. The games are rendered in the software with an HTML5 engine, but they simply haven’t been updated like the single-hand instant play and mobile versions. You will be taking a trip back to 1998 if you play them.
The good news is, for players who’ve been around for a long time you will immediately appreciate how far online gaming has come in the last few years. Other than that, I can’t find a single redeeming quality to the games with more hands and they should probably be left in the past until Spin Logic works its magic on them like they have the single-hand versions.
Bonuses and Promotions
You can find the current welcome bonus above along with basic terms and conditions. The terms are fairly run of the mill as far as wagering requirements go, (30xd+b), etc., but the percentage match is usually much better and the packages are bigger in terms of how stages and the total potential bonus amount. Of course, promotions change over the course of time so please see the current offer.
When we visited we found two different welcome packages. Please see the top of this page for the current welcome offers.
Let’s take a look at the Bonus T&C!
Wagering is 30 times deposit plus bonus (30xd+b). So a $100 deposit with a 125% bonus would give a bankroll of $225. In order to cash out your winnings you would need to wager through, or turnover, $6750 (225x30).
The following games can be played with an active bonus:
- Bingo games
- European Slot Poker
- Keno
- Scratch Cards
- Slots
The max bet with any bonus is $10. There are no max cashouts on bonuses.
No hidden juju, no trap doors, no miserly limits.
Looks good to me!
One thing I noticed several years ago was that if I made a few deposits with or without a bonus and didn’t win, then went off to play somewhere else for a while hoping my luck would change - lo and behold I’d get an email with a decent free chip code in it. It was always a nice surprise and very much appreciated.
Promotional campaigns
EVERYGAME runs a new campaign every month. It’s fairly rare for the total prize pool in the campaign to be less than $100,000 but I have seen a few valued at $75k and one was running recently with “only” $80,000 to be given to players.
For instance, this month the prize pool is $120,000 and they are giving away $30,000 per week to the top players. It doesn’t matter how much you deposit as long as it is at least $75 to qualify for one of the $30 to $500 bonuses given out to 300 players each Monday - or - deposit at least $25 during the week to be eligible for the Thursday Draw when 50 players will receive bonuses worth between $20 and $150. A cash bonus of $1,000 is awarded to a single winner at the end of the campaign.
Wheel of Fortune
When we visited this campaign was worth $30,000 with $1,000 in bonuses given out every single day of the month. To qualify for one of the twenty, $50 bonuses all you have to do is play.
Mobile players can win up to $100 just for using their device to play. See details on site.
Comp points are just like cash and are accrued at 1:1000 in playthrough.
Banking and Customer Service
There are a lot of ways to get your deposits into and your winnings out of EVERYGAME. Some of the alternative withdrawal methods are so creative and effective we really shouldn’t mention them in the public domain - so we won’t. We will tell you that you will be paid when you win - that’s a certainty.
Deposits can be made through a variety of debit and credit cards, cryptocurrencies, or “Money Global”. Please visit the casino for information or instructions on how to send the funds from nearly any place on the planet.
Note: Players in Australia, Austria, Germany, the United Kingdom, and France are not allowed to register. The operator reserves the right to refuse new registrations from the United States. In the past that has meant Washington State and Kentucky but could also include Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, and New York at their discretion. There’s one really good way to find out just how deeply set in stone some of those state restrictions might be [smiles].
Withdrawals are issued via various cryptocurrencies, by check, or by bank wire as well as other ways when agreed. Deposit limits are low but withdrawal limits are set rather high at $100 or more depending on the method, many have fees attached, and only one withdrawal is permitted per week (any 7-day period) according to the general sportsbook terms and conditions.
Cashouts are not like greased lighting here, but they always pay. Expect at least 48 hours pending time and then a few days longer to receive your funds once the processing starts. Bank wires can take 10-15 business days, while checks which are drawn on a Canadian bank can take 5 days after pending.
Bitcoin and altcoin players get the fastest cashouts but it will still take 4-5 days to get your funds depending on when you withdraw. Withdrawals are processed Monday through Friday after the 48 hours pending time. Expect up to 48 more hours for the process to occur. A Monday cashout could be in your crypto wallet on Thursday or Friday. A withdrawal any other day of the week could take longer depending on when the weekend falls.
Customer service
Live chat and email are the only current avenues of communication with customer service. The live chat icon is found on the lower right part of your screen and several email addresses are found by navigating to the footer of the page and following the Contact link.
Pitfalls
- Long pending period for cashouts (48 hours)
- Fees for most withdrawal methods ($50)
- High minimum withdrawal limit ($100 BTC/$150 check, bank wire)
- Low maximum withdrawal limits ($3,000 check, all others $2,500)
The Final Word
EVERYGAME Casino is carrying on one of the oldest traditions in online gambling. The archetypal forbearer was even immortalized by a Microgaming slot that bore their name (Intertops Express).
It may not be suited to every player, but it’s steady, it’s true, and it shares a nearly religious belief with this reviewer - a bet laid is a bet paid. It’s baked into the culture and part of their DNA.
New players will find a very generous welcome package and loyal players can use their comp points as money, just as they are supposed to be used. Ongoing campaigns with daily, weekly, and monthly bonuses along with a smart customer retention team ensure you will be able to extend your bankroll for more spins and have more chances to win one of the Real Series Random Jackpots that grow fast and large here. And when you win, the bonus won’t prevent you from eventually cashing it all out.
Wagering requirements are near the high end of the spectrum, but your winnings won’t be capped and, after all, bonuses are not mandatory, they are optional. They are offered because many, perhaps most players enjoy using them.
Banking speed is not a high point here - but as long as you know what to expect (5 days to get your hands on the money), you never have to worry about whether or not you will be paid. The withdrawal fees and a limit of one withdrawal per week are definitive negatives, but it goes back to culture - it did begin as a sportsbook, and that too seems to be baked into their DNA.
If you are looking for a new gaming site to call “home” this might be just the place you were looking for. If you want to give the welcome package a shot to turn a profit and test the payment processes, I’d say go for it. If you simply like shiny new things but long for tradition and stability at the same time - well, you probably can’t go wrong here.
