Miami Club Casino Review Jump to comments
Miami Club Casino came online in 2012 and has kept the same sleek and sophisticated look since day one. The site is presented in darkened shades of purple with white and gold lettering and bold gold accents. The overall impression is one of luxury, opulence, and money to burn while impressing the high-class models on the page who each have the brand's logo tattooed on their bare shoulders.
Operationally, the site is owned and managed by Deckmedia N.V. along with several sister sites including Red Stag, which uses the same WGS gaming software but takes an entirely different approach visually and with promotions. Well-known names in the Deckmedia stable include Slot'O Cash, Desert Nights, and Slots Capital running RTG and Rival software as well as the multi-software Box 24, Black Diamond, and Spartan Slots. In 2017 they introduced Fair Go, a Realtime Gaming site focused on the Australian market.
With a focus on the American market, US players from anywhere except the 7 states that specifically ban online gambling, which includes Washington state where it is a felony to place an unauthorized bet online, are welcomed. A few other countries including Canada and the UK are restricted. The website and games are only available in English but that still leaves a huge market. Looking at the usernames of players in the free and paid tournaments indicates they do well in attracting overseas visitors.
Software and Games
WGS, or Wager Gaming is a newer brand name for the Vegas Technology gaming software of old. Previous to that it was known as Odds On. Their first venue was known as English Harbour and many of the games available today could be found at there in the early 2000's.
While most of the games can be played on any HTML5 compatible device (web browser), WGS is still in the process of getting all of their games optimized for mobile play. The available games are great, they just aren't all there yet. Instant play for desktop works fine as well, but there are a few games, including Pai Gow poker and baccarat that require users to install the software. Overall, the graphics are crisper and clearer when using the download client compared to browser-based gaming.
For a blast from the past or to see what online gamblers had available in 2001 try the 7 reel Farming Futures slot. The graphics are flat cartoon renderings, but the 9 pay lines over 7 reels awarding prizes in both directions make for an entertaining diversion. Compare the one screen pay table to something from today's Avante Garde developers that reads like a tome, and nostalgia might get the best of you.
If some of the games look familiar, it may be because Vegas Tech must have licensed 25 line versions of the same games that Cryptologic used in 20 line renditions. The appearance, functionality, paytables and everything else tells you they were developed in NextGen Gaming labs. Some of the newer slot games like Cash Cow and Luck Beans have their own unique dynamics and don't appear anywhere else. Colorful renditions like Amanda Panda and the Jackpot Journey are anyone's guess, as are Livin' the Life and Cash Cow.
These are most likely bespoke games created for WGS by independent labs, but it's impossible to know as all internal workings of the company seem to be trade secrets, including their place of licensing. Our best guess for Amanda Panda would be Genesis Gaming Inc. (GGI) based on maths, mechanics, sounds, and appearance coupled with the fact that another game only found on WGS, Grail Maiden, was almost certainly created in the earlier Genesis studio.
As far as the user interface and functionality, the instant play and download versions are pretty much identical. Lobby options include fun play and real play modes; control game sound, background sounds, and animations. Access to account information, cashier, and of course games is available. The Help section is Flash and currently dysfunctional, but probably under maintenance or revamping.
The tournament lobby gets a lot of traffic with daily freerolls, weekly, and monthly tournaments organized in an easy to understand and simple to use format. The current "Miami Month Long" slots tournament costs $5 to enter and has a $5,000 prize pool with top honors taking home $1,000. Be prepared for some vicious competition when it comes to re-buys for the top spot though, these players are serious about winning.
Promotions and Banking
Simply logging on is enough to be presented with the bonus of the day. There is also a Promotions button that lists daily and weekly bonuses. After making a deposit using any of the usual deposit methods, a new screen will appear listing eligible bonuses. You also have the option of checking a box to reject any bonus. As a longstanding US facing concern, players will always find a way to get their money into and out of the cashier! Withdrawal methods, minimums, and maximums are clearly illustrated within the cashier section.
Pitfalls
The instant play games more or less take control of your screen while loading. If they get hung up, you have to refresh the page which requires logging in again. Until you get used to the layout, you might close the lobby while trying to close a game instead of returning to the lobby. While the mobile site is constantly taking shape, not all of the games are available as of late 2017.
The Final Word
Miami Club Casino is a solid operation, run by a reliable company with no bad marks in the public sphere. Disputes are few and settled quickly and amicably when they do arise, usually from new players not understanding how Bonuses work or the occasional difficulties all companies experience in paying US players quickly.
While you're not likely to find the logo of a licensing jurisdiction on the website, Caribbean licenses simply don't mean that much compared to the real world concerns of a fair game and responsible payout policies. What you will find is a link to a Certified Fair Gaming certificate re-issued monthly by Charles Mousseau, who now runs CFG after Dr. Eliot Jacobson, who founded the auditing firm in 2003, retired a few years ago. Jacobson was famous within the industry for providing mathematical proof when gaming sites or software providers were accused of cheating. Mousseau, though CFG, currently audits and certifies 14 gambling sites and software providers.

This casino has failed to issue my withdrawal, their live chat support is claiming that their finance department is having legal problems sending wire transfers to US players. My withdrawal request was processed on the 6th of december and still have not received it as of the 20th. After chatting today with their support is when they informed me that they were having legal issues and my withdrawal in not going to be processed untill they sort out the legal issues.
