Spin Dimension Review Jump to comments

Spin Dimension gives online players in the USA and other places real money casino action at their fingertips. Formerly known as OG Palace, the Bitcoin-friendly gambling site is owned and operated by Goldridge Solutions Ltd and operated under a Curacao license from Gaming Curacao.

Depending on your location (Vivo Gaming and Felix Games may not be available in some areas) you’ll find over 500 slots from a rich variety of providers as well as table games, cards, dice, keno and instant wins, and video poker before you even enter the live dealer suite of games.

Game providers include Arrows Edge, BetSoft, Dragon Gaming, Felix Gaming, Fresh Deck Studios, Nucleus Gaming, Qora Games, Rival, Saucify, and Vivo Gaming. While there may not be thousands of titles to choose from, having this many studios under the roof means new games do come out often.

Banking is currently a bit limited with credit and debit card deposits, as well as Bitcoin, and withdrawals are available via Bitcoin or wire transfer.

The mainstay deposit incentive is weekly cashback up to 20%, depending on your tier level. There is also a lucrative “starter pack” starting with a 500% match up to $500 on your first deposit along with three more matches of 200% up to $750 each. Please keep in mind bonuses can and usually do change over time so see the above near the logo for current offers and minimum terms. You could also visit to see any up-to-the-minute offers.

The first deposit offer has a max cashout of 10x deposit but the next three have no limit on the amount you can win. We’ll go into the Daily Loot and other bonuses in a subsequent section below. Each day comes with a new offer and terms like wagering requirements, etc., are different for nearly all of them.

Telephone, email, live chat, and an online contact form, as well as a comprehensive FAQ section, are all available with 24/7 support ready to help with any issue.

While the brand is newer, the ownership and management seem to be the same after rebranding. I guess the name OG Palace just didn’t strike a chord with players. At least they didn’t need a fresh start due to any controversies or unsettled disputes. We find no complaints after more than a year and didn’t find any when we reviewed the operation earlier.

That’s not to say that some of their sister sites under the same ownership haven’t had a few kurfuffles since Diamond Reels launched in 2012 - most casinos will have a few problems over the course of a decade. I played at Diamond Reels for a few years before I found instant pay RTG casinos (around 2015 or so) and never had any problems with getting paid.

Going back through emails I see it took me about 4 days including a weekend to get my documents verified the first time. From memory, the most I ever won there were cashouts in the lower 4-digits and I never had to fight to be paid.

Not all players were as fortunate as at least two had their winnings seized based on a negative player database - an industry blacklist of sorts, at least among RTG operators that purport to hold the names of anyone who has charged back deposits, but possibly also those found to have “abused bonuses”. If you’ve ever been accused of “bonus abuse” this might not be the best place to play. Those complaints were several years ago and they were about Diamond Reels.

SlotGard, SpinoVerse, Platinum Reels, and Island Reels are sites also operated by the same company. Any complaints we’ve seen over the years have been resolved as far as we can see. We do find one negative database-driven account closure in January 2021. The player’s deposits were returned. The player did not come back to the forum to explain anything after being paid - so it’s not possible to know for sure if it was a fraudulent player or not. I always give the benefit of doubt to the player but when they don’t follow up, it’s simply not possible to.

While all historical complaints about OG Palace and sister sites seem to have been resolved they were not always resolved in favor of the player. What might seem like a minor breach of terms to the gambler is enough to void a win and find for the casino. Some examples include betting more than $10 per hand/spin by using the double-up feature after a win, depositing on top of free bonus winnings in an attempt to make multiple withdrawals, and other technical terms violations.

With no warnings to relay we’ll look for potential pitfalls along the way and report any we find in the second to last section, just before wrapping up the review.

In the meantime, we’ll take a look at the software and games here, and go as deep into bonus terms as we need to while on the lookout for anything odd, murky, untoward, or even predatory.
The banking review section should be fairly brief with limited methods but we’ll cover any fees, pending times, processing times, limits, etc., so you have a better idea of how your experience might play out.

Finally, after reviewing any potential pitfalls, we’ll render a final word or two based on what we discover in the course of today’s review.

Software and Games

All of the games are available through a unified Rival instant play lobby. Since the games are delivered in HTML5 for secure browser play, they won’t take up space on your hard drive as the former Rival download client games would. After visiting a game, the graphics and other common assets will be stored securely in your browser’s cache for at least the duration of the session so revisited games will load with lightning-like quickness.

The game packages are lean and mean so they download in short order, but some of the Rival titles with next-gen graphics and animations like Viking Victory take a little longer for the initial download.

Navigation in a Rival instant play lobby is not necessarily intuitive but it can become second nature very quickly. The perennial user interface clunker is the “X” button in the upper right. It remains on screen with an open game and clicking will bring up an annoying prompt asking if you are sure you want to exit the casino. This seems to be an artifact in the UI leftover from the days before multiple tab browsers. Personally, I just close the tab when I’m done. Choosing that button simply logs you out.

One nice feature of the Rival lobby is that a preview pane is provided on the left side of the screen. However, it only provides very basic information such as the number of reels and line count. You can also choose to play the “Lite” version or the Enhanced version with Lite being best for slow connections and some mobile devices. One of the pathways to the cashier, bonus, and history pages is located at the bottom of the panel.

There is a text search bar along the top accompanied by a Filters button. Options include filtering by game category/type such as slots, table games, etc., filtering further by features like games that have bonus rounds, multipliers, expanding wilds, etc., and finally, sorting the resulting page by release date, popularity, or name - all ascending or descending as you wish.

Manually scrolling through categories and choosing a game by category and visual appeal works well too and the filters option can be toggled on or off at any time. If you prefer to sort by provider or studio brand, scrolling opens up a few options including a sampling of titles by each maker and the ability to fill the page with only slots from Arrow’s Edge, Betsoft, Dragon, Felix, etc.

Scrolling past those options we see specialty games, scratch and wins, table games, and video poker.

Unlike most modern lobbies you won’t find a dedicated section for the live dealer games. Instead, they are found in the table games category. US players can simply choose the Fresh Deck Studios icon among the other titles to open the suite in a new tab. Your balance will follow you into and out of the Fresh Deck lobby so there’s no need to transfer funds. Look for roulette games with stakes as low as $0.50 per spin or VIP blackjack with limits up to $10,000 or European roulette with bet’s as high as $12,500. Simply close the tab to return to the RNG (random number generator) lobby.

Slots

When we visited nearly all of the Featured slots were from Rival. The list included favorites, old and new, from Gushers Gold to The Wicked Witches and Cleopatra’s Coins Treasure of the Nile. The “Hot” category was seeded with Rival titles as well.

This reviewer has a love-hate relationship with Arrow’s Edge slots but not in the normal way. The games I love, I absolutely seek out and play and the games I hate have sucked many a bankroll dry. I can’t count the number of times I’ve hit well on favorites and then on a fallacious whim thrown it all away chasing any sort of win on Kimba and Friends.

I normally wouldn’t be drawn to a title like World Leaders, but some of the mechanics are interesting and the phone bonus has recharged my bankroll more often than I can count. I have somehow been very lucky to collect top-tier prizes in the round almost every time it has triggered.

An all-time favorite Arrow’s Edge game for me is Time Bender - the game was simply ahead of its time and checks all the boxes for me. I love sophisticated Sci-Fi games - through in pays both ways, full-reel wilds, random 3x4 colossal symbols with respins on reels 1 and 5, and random nudges to fill an entire reel with the same symbol and that’s a winner in my book.

The bonus game is super-integrated with the theme and presents a mesmerizing electrical experience as you pick your way to the center of the time portal with a chance to in all of the picks for a huge payout. The free spins are icing on the cake.

Another favorite is the beautifully rendered Pixiu with its feature selector allowing players to choose between an instant bonus amount, free spins, or a bonus game. It’s also a game of built value, so it’s good to go into it with a decent bankroll compared to bet size. There are 4 levels and the bonus features increase with each level. You will move from level one to level two after only 25 spins. After 76 spins you will stay on the highest level with increased bonus prizes and spins.

Most of the games have 2 progressive jackpots.

Betsoft continues to roll out player favorites in their signature 3D style with well-thought-out narratives and engaging mascots/animated game hosts or not, depending on the game. The developer has been in the business for decades but not much is known about their early days.

Look for desktop and mobile games. When selecting the Betsoft category of slots here even 100 titles appear. The catalog might hold more but we were unable to find other titles by name, such as Mamma Mia, but even more well-seasoned titles like Gladiator were present.

The jackpot games aren’t found in their own category but that doesn’t seem to be a major loss. Anecdotally, I’ve been playing online since the late 1990s and I have never seen PR about somebody winning a Betsoft progressive jackpot. Also, be sure to check the paytable and rules if you are seeking one of these elusive creatures because in the past some of the games only offered a jackpot at max bet.

Let’s take a look at Mega Glam Life… which should be a progressive jackpot slot.

Interestingly, we didn't find anything in the rules to indicate you must bet max ($100 per spin) to win one of the jackpots. Jackpots are won on a bonus wheel. When we visited the Big was at $5605, the Huge was sitting at $64,197, and the Mega was a whopping $826,976.00. We wanted to take a quick look at a couple of jackpot trackers to see the last time the Mega fell to a player. Unfortunately, none of the reliable trackers cover the games any longer.

Betsoft is a very prolific provider not just in the number of games developed but also in the number of operators that carry the games. We don’t have a number to put with that anecdote but can see we find them at a heck of a lot of gaming sites, to say the least. Some observers place the number of sites that carry the games in excess of 500.

Thematic variety is robust and most of the games have a medium-high to high RTP (theoretical return to player percentage). The company website lists quite a few details about each game but fails to note the volatility or risk index. Highly volatile games have wide swings in higher payouts and dead spins while a game with low volatility is not as “streaky” with easy swells and dips that bring the actual RTP in line with the theoretical percentage in far fewer spins.

My experience over the years has been that they are low on the heat index but many games can be forced to higher volatility by selecting fewer lines (and raising the bet per line if you want to). It’s unclear if that would be an acceptable practice here with or without a bonus or regardless of staying under the max bet rule when using a bonus. I wasn’t able to find a general or specific term against the practice. However, “god-clauses” are found within the terms.

14. "Bonuses may be refused at the discretion of management if abuse of promotions is suspected. All withdrawals will be audited and refused where there is suspected fraud or at the casino management's discretion."

Qora slots can present an interesting and entertaining diversion. You can read our in-depth review here. The games were first seen at sites like Bovada, Ignition, Slots.lv, etc., but the portfolio has grown a lot since then. When we visited there were about 60 titles on tap from the best-known Fat & Sexy and A Night with Cleo to Cricket Legends, CyberPunk City, and beyond. There are also a few RNG bingo titles mixed in for spice.

SuperWilds XL is a game that has to be played to be believed. I found the maths and mechanics to be so far advanced that I doubted it could have come from a little-known start-up with games only deployed at a few more or less obscure casinos. It appears that inkling was correct.

Qora would appear to be an off-ramped licensing vehicle that delivers profoundly similar games to those of a Las Vegas developer with a UKGC license. Betsoft has done the same thing with Nucleus Gaming as have others. We don’t pretend to know precisely what’s going on with games like this but the only thing that makes sense is that they have been retrofitted with different artistic elements and wording but use the engines of other games. This way they can be deployed in unregulated markets like the US. Call them clones and call it good, I guess.

If that is not the case, then Spin Dimension is simply co-mingling Genesis slots with Qora games and Qora changed the names of their titles when they moved from “proprietary” status on Bovada et al to a brand name and went mainstream. The bottom line is many of the games in the Qora stable here are “quite fine” and several could vie for favorites with many players.

Dragon Gaming is another high-quality slot developer found here. They also make table games and scratch cards. The official site only lists three deployed titles and three that are coming soon. However, Spin Dimension displays over 40 titles on the gaming site. Our earlier research indicated that the studio or development lab is located in the Philippines and while there are plenty of Asian-centric slots in the catalog it’s not an Asia-specific provider by any means.

Some of the titles such as Basketball Legends were initially found at former English Harbour sites and the new generation of Wager Gaming Systems (WGS) casinos but were never assignable to a particular provider like most of the titles can be. Most of the games on those sites were developed by NextGen back in the day and licensed in different payline versions to the likes of English Harbour in 20 lines and Party casino and Cryptologic in 15 or 9-line versions.

Oddly enough by way of trivia, the original Arrow’s Edge portfolio appeared in only two lobbies for several years and those sites carried original NextGen/Party titles like Metropolis which the sites revamped into more modern feeling games. Unfortunately, those titles do not appear in the aggregated catalog anywhere else. The nine-line Board Babe, Metropolis, and Eastern Dragon, or versions thereof can still be found. Some of the others. Like Kanga Cash can still be found in their 25-line versions at WGS casinos.

Saucify was formerly known as BetOnSoft but it rebranded several years ago. The legacy catalog has been maintained for the most part and new games seem to appear now and then. You may have run across some of their titles like Beijing Nights under the Genii brand - Genii appears to be another “Bojack clone with permissions”, but that remains unclear.

The catalog holds some games that are loved for nostalgic reasons and others that simply offer a premium gaming experience. Sci-Fi fans might want to try Electron - lovers of highly volatile games might like the 9-line Age of Spartans and if you simply like that theme they also offer a 25-line game with 15 lines with 8000x line bet for the highest paying symbol in Rise of Spartans.

Table games

Look for a variety of RNG table and card games including roulette, blackjack, ride’em poker, and a couple of regionally popular games like Andar Bahar and Teen Patti. Choose Fresh Deck Studios to enter live games. Players outside the USA may find Vivo Gaming as an option.

Fresh Deck appears to not be so much a dedicated studio as an amalgamated feed aggregated by the company. It might be an industry service for all markets but the fact we’ve only seen it at US-facing sites, I’d guess it simply provides a layer of insulation and plausible deniability for studios licensed elsewhere that have other commercial and regulatory agreements that prevent them from offering games directly to players in the USA. A working analogy might be that a slot machine vendor in the US only serves the casino - who the floor manager allows on the machine is of no concern to the vendor.

Live games include blackjack (US, Euro, Baltic, and Latin); European and American roulette in live dealer and autoplay versions, and a baccarat offering which may include Dragon Tiger depending on lobby configuration and demand.

As mentioned in our introduction, the live gaming suite opens in a new window on a new secure domain but your Spin Dimension balance will follow you in and out automatically.

Bonuses and Promotions

Players may or may not see the advertised opening offer inside the promotional dispenser located on the cashier pages. But if you haven’t been hunting and harvesting Rival welcome bonuses there is a good chance that what you see on site will be found within the cashier.

When we visited we found a 500% 1st deposit bonus on up to a $500 deposit. This was followed by three more 200% matches on deposits up to $750 each. The total match value of the welcome package was $7,000.

Wagering on all four was set at 40x d+b and the 500% offer had a max cashout of 10x deposit. No max cashout limit was placed on the next three. Max bet with all bonuses, including double-ups, etc., was $10 per hand/spin. Blackjack splits and doubles with a total bet per round of $10 would lead to disqualification.

Daily Loot

All of the daily bonuses come with max cashouts ranging from $250 on a free chip to $3,500 on 95% and 112% bonuses. Wagering is quite a bit lower for all of the Daily Loot offers ranging from 25x to 35x.

Most freebies come with a minimum and maximum cashout of $100 and all wire transfer payouts under $500 have a $35 fee attached.

Cash back bonuses carry max cash out of 5X or $100, whichever is greater. Max cashback in a week is $200 so the most you can cash out from the rebate bonus is $1,000. Cashback coupons are valid for 7 days and will be deleted or deleted and replaced with a new one each week.

Terms

If you take a deposit match you will only be able to cash out an amount equal to or greater than your initial balance. After meeting wagering requirements, a $100 deposit with a $100 bonus would only be withdrawable if your balance was $200 or more.

The terms are rife with overreach which gives the operator bonafide reasons to withhold a withdrawal if they think you might have done something wrong but they simply can’t prove it within the terms. Denial of winnings and status of player accounts is completely within the operator’s discretion according to the terms. Look for such outliers as Term #26 which states “Should any players be found to have arrest or criminal records, the casino reserves the right to close that player’s casino account as well as cancel any pending withdrawal, based on the nature and severity of the crime

One of the worst terms I have ever seen is number 33. "If you are found to be cheating or attempting to defraud the Game, or if you make untrue and/or malicious comments with regard to the Company's operation, the Company reserves the right to publicize your actions together with your identity and email address, as well as to circulate this information to other casinos, banks, credit card companies, and appropriate agencies."

That's not very nice...

We have not seen these used but a few years ago a sister site used the following term to appropriate $25 from a new player in a bone-head of the year customer service action:
For any sign-up free bonuses, a Bitcoin verification deposit will be required and must be wagered once before you may withdraw via Bitcoin”. They paid out the $100 free chip win, minus a $35 wire transfer fee and minus whatever was left of the player’s verification deposit after 1x playthrough claiming that nothing in the rules said they had to give it back.

I played at that particular property for about two years and never ran across anything close to that - which tells me the player was probably a free chip hunter and had probably already cashed out at a sister site or three. That’s no excuse, but it might be an explanation.

Banking and Customer Service

Banking options may vary by player location. From a desk in the USA were Visa, Mastercards, and Bitcoin as the available deposit options along with wire transfer (bank wire) and BTC as withdrawal methods. Visa withdrawals are listed as coming soon and American Express is mentioned in the text.

On the banking pages, new players will find a link to the Bitcoin Quick Starter Guide. Instructions for CashApp and Coinbase are provided. Players in the US and a few other select countries can cash out from Coinbase to PayPal instantly. You’ll find instructions on the Coinbase site.

The minimum withdrawal is $100 regardless of the method and a $35 fee will be applied for all bank wires under $500. You can only withdraw via BTC if your deposit was in Bitcoin. All deposits must be wagered at least 1x before a withdrawal can occur. Documents are required for all withdrawals of $100 or more and $100 is the minimum withdrawal amount possible - fees are deducted after that determination.

There is no max cashout per transaction provision listed in the terms or in the FAQ but we would not assume that to mean there is no limit. However, inside the cashier, we find a $2000 BTC limit and a $5,000 limit for bank wires to checking or savings accounts.

US telephone support is available as well as email and live chat. Self-exclusion, as well as limited-time account freezes, are available from within the cashier.

History

Within the cashier, you will find a tab for your history at the casino. Experience has shown me that these data are available forever or as good as. I looked back at some of my Rival accounts from the 2000s and the history was still intact.

Players can access their lifetime deposit records to include the date, amount, method, and billing information. Withdrawals are shown with the amount, method, status, and date as are withdrawal reversals. Game wagers and results are shown under another tab and your promotions history is found under its own tab as well.

Pitfalls

  • Newer operation (rebranded OG Palace)
  • High minimum withdrawal ($100)
  • Limited withdrawal options (bank wire/Bitcoin)
  • Unfair terms whether ever executed or not (God-Clause)
  • Some associated sites have a checkered history (Diamond Reels, Platinum Reels)

The Final Word

There is a lot to like here. The game selection isn’t absolutely unique as it can be found at several other sites, but it is interesting and well-curated, especially for US players. Aside from Evolution, Pragmatic, or Playtech the live dealer studios are about as good as it gets anywhere but especially good for players in America.

Some of the ongoing bonuses (Daily Loot) have better terms than the welcome package with lower wagering requirements and no max cashouts on some, but most of the daily offers do have anywhere from $250 max cash on small free chips to $3,500 max cash on bonuses around 100%. The wagering requirements are more reasonable too at an average of 30x.

Considering max value on the 1st deposit bonus a deposit of $750 would yield $3750 in bonus funds for a bankroll of $4500. After beating rollover the max cashout would be $7,500 (10xd) but the minimum allowable amount to withdraw would be $4,500 (sum of deposit and bonus).

That leaves a rather small window to climb through after wagering $180,000 (40 d+b). Personally, I wouldn’t deposit the most possible but might go $200 for a bankroll of $1.2k. The window is still smaller ($800) but less would be risked to maximize the offer.

The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th deposit offers are good at 200% but hold the same terms except they have no max cashout. I was about to say I would take these offers at max deposit and play highly volatile games - the ones found in the Qora catalog. However, a closer look at the terms and conditions under weighting shows that “Slot Progressive and QORA slots” count 0% toward wagering requirements.

If there weren’t so many “in our sole discretion” terms I would probably play the Genesis/Qora games to build up a bankroll and then switch to others with some back and forth to complete wagering if I got lucky. I would not feel comfortable doing that here though.

The lack of player complaints over the course of years at Diamond Reels and subsequent launches/acquisitions and the complete oddness of the complaints where players were not paid, makes me tend to think that playing with a bonus here would be fine if I keep my bets about the same value throughout wagering, move around blindly from game to game and provider to provider, and I haven’t been denied winnings or accused of bonus abuse anywhere else or ever threatened a chargeback. One can’t be sure, but that seems to be the type of player that never has occasion to file a complaint.

I don’t like the high minimum withdrawal, the ‘god clauses’, or the BS term stating that the minimum withdrawal when playing with a bonus is the sum of the deposit plus the bonus. It makes no sense except to disqualify a lot of wins. I didn’t delve deep enough to learn whether I could simply deposit more to get the balance up well into that range and then play through the last deposit amount 1x to free it all up. That lack of curiosity belies the fact I simply don’t find bonuses with absurd terms interesting so I would not be likely to play here with a bonus.

That said, I do like the game selection for a change of weather now and then. If I can actually be paid out to a BTC wallet within 2-24 hours I’d be comfortable playing here.

ditto on promos not working. I’m so sick of link rot and garbage ass casinos offering promos that have expired or advertising sign-up incentives that don’t work anymore talk about a lazy business ethic. This is so common in this industry it’s bullshit and any place that exemplifies this should have its crypto coffers looted, distributed among all the users they have exploited and then burned to the ground Robin hood PoT style.

Okay, there was no deposit bonus for new players, so that was not a plus. However, I do think they offer good deposit bonuses for despositors. I like the games and I did hit big a few times, but then lost it all.
