TripleSeven Casino is an online gambling site that now takes players in the USA. Opened in late July 2021 it joins LadyLuck and RedCherry in TheOnline.Casino family of brands.

One unique thing about these sites is that you can sign up for one and play at all of them. The game selection is the same (RTG/SpinLogic) but each venue has its own bonus offers.

Players can mix and match welcome bonuses or earn comps at one and spend at another. The best thing is you only need to submit documents and verify once - then you are good to go to withdraw at any of the sites in the network.

Software and Games

The RTG platform offers gameplay on any channel, almost any device. iOS/Android smartphones, tablets, laptops, desktops - PC or Mac. The only browser I haven't been able to get the instant play games to work on is native to a VR headset. As of now, the lobby loads but a game won't launch - that might be different if you are using PCVR.

Homogenized, optimized, device-agnostic, and near-universally multichannel

When you visit the site for the first time, you will have several options if you want to play right away. Mobile users can click “Mobile” to find a library of games available for free play in demo mode without the need to register an account. Unlike most sites on the RTG platform, we don’t find many filtering or sorting tools. For instance, on mobile and instant play sites you can’t sort by the title alphabetically, the number of paylines, or the jackpot amount. 

What you can do though, is click the “i” (information) icon on any game icon to learn more. This will trigger a pop-up that includes the following information:

• Name (title)
• Jackpot (if any)
• Volatility (low, medium, high, very high)
• Pay lines or “ways” (20, 25, 50, 243 etc.)
• Features: Random wilds reels, free games with multipliers, bursting wilds, cascading wins, progressive multipliers, etc.

New games

Rather than simply listing three or four new titles, the designers here have opted to display a full page of games sorted by the release date. When we visited the site there were 16 titles going back as far in time as the release of Achilles Deluxe. This may be the first game officially designated as a SpinLogic property. It was released in August 2020.

Looking at that list we see an average of about 4 new titles every 3 months.

What I like about this layout is that it doesn’t relegate games that have been around for a couple of months to the anonymity of the larger collection. Most sites only show three or four new games. I get it “New” is new. However, with currently no way to sort by release date at any RTG platformed site, this is a nice feature. The page is only about half full, so maybe by the end of summer 2022 we’ll be able to reach two years back in time to play games we almost remember the name of but can’t quite recall.

Do you ever “get that feeling”? You want to play a certain game that gave you some sort of intellectual or emotional imprint… you can sort of see the game in your mind, you recall the fun and excitement of a win or other discovery moment, and you just can’t think of the title. With a current catalog of 228 unique titles, it can be a struggle to scroll through the game icons hoping to find it.

Complicating that frustration just a bit is the fact that as of August 2021, not every game is available on every channel thanks to the industry being forced to migrate to the HTML5 framework from the former Adobe Flash player. Realtime Gaming could have been more proactive, but even NetEnt and other international game giants have sidelined some games rather than convert them. At least with the RTG platform all but two or three titles can still be found on the download client - whether they will ever be upgraded to web HTML or not.

Video slots

This category is RTG/SpinLogic’s claim to fame. I became a fan of the software back in the early 2000s when they came out with the Real Series Aussie slots with local random progressive jackpots. No matter how advanced some of the maths and mechanics become with multilevel progressive bonus rounds or other mechanics, I always spend some portion of a gambling session on the tried and true favorites.

My personal short list of legacy slots found at TripleSevens would include:

I personally love all of the Asian titles that were released by RTGAsia as well. Hardly a session goes by that I won’t risk at least a few spins on the brutally high volatility Panda’s Gold or go all in on Shanghai Lights or Three Kingdom Wars. Unfortunately, I don’t find the colossal symbols of Wu Zetian here, but it may have just not been populated yet.

Video poker

SpinLogic has revamped all 14 of the RTG video poker titles from Aces & Eights to Sevens Wild. If you have ever played RTG VP you probably noticed they looked and felt like online games released in the late 1990s or early-early 2000s. The pay tables were awesome, but the user experience was terrible. You had to actually leave the game to change coin size! 

That is no longer the case. Now they are slick and smooth, download super fast, and use very little bandwidth to play, and they still have great pay tables! Aces & Eights still has the 8/5/4/3/2/1 pay table making it the lowest house edge of any video poker I have seen online. Of course, Jackson Better is still 9/6 Full Pay with an 800:1 payout for a Royal when betting all five coins.

One new feature is a collapsible mini hand flyout for those who want to click fast. It is collapsed and hidden away by default and located just above the “Deal” button. One click and the physical play area will be reduced to an area about 2” x 3” on a desktop with the full-sized hand still displayed in living color.

Table games

Look for 21/BJ variants along with Tri Card poker in this section. Progressive Caribbean poker games are also found here as well as with the network progressive slots in the Progressives section. Let’Em Ride with an optional progressive side bet is also found in both sections.

Specialty

This section has not been fully populated as of summer 2021 but includes European roulette, keno, and an arcade game. As it fills out, we should also see craps, American roulette, animated scratch cards, progressive jackpot bingo, and a fish shooting game. Those can all be found on the download client.

Progressives

These are all network progressives, fed by every casino on the RTG platform.

Caribbean Hold’Em, Stud, and Draw poker all offer an optional $1 side bet and share a progressive jackpot pool that is awarded to any player who has placed the bet and is dealt a Royal Flush. Let ‘Em Ride is also a progressive game but it usually has a much smaller jackpot because it is seeded with a lower amount and the jackpot is not pooled with other titles.

Jackpot Cleopatra’s Gold and Jackpot Cleopatra’s Gold Deluxe also share a pooled network jackpot.

Shopping Spree II was released without much fanfare but the 9-line game was seeded at $500,000 and continues to grow with every spin, everywhere. One of the games is seeded at $1m: Aztec’s Millions. Jackpot Pinatas Deluxe seems to have ‘acquired’ the jackpot from the standard version that was released in 2009. It was originally seeded at $250,000 and has never been won. As of review time, it is sitting at $1,899,897 at all RTG platform gaming sites.

Note: The Bodog ‘group’ (Bovada etc) bought source code for some RTG games nearly a decade ago. Most of those games are stuck in time and have never been upgraded since they were launched. One of those games is a “copy” of Jackpot Pinata. The progressive is obviously configured much differently than the ‘official’ version as it has fallen at least five times with payouts ranging from a little over the seed amount to $1,557,930. The individual contributions are obviously much higher (a higher percentage of each bet feeds the jackpot rather than overall RTP) and the jackpot is easier to trigger.

My suggestion for risk-takers would be to play Spirit of the Inca. The game has five separate progressive jackpots and each one of them must fall before it reaches its ‘boiling point’. Raising your bet one level opens up a higher value jackpot while still leaving you eligible for the lower one(s). The game can be profitable on a good day simply because there are expanding wild symbols on all five reels, the free spins with multipliers are not extremely difficult to trigger, and gameplay starts at $0.50 per spin.

The Final Word

TripleSeven Casino is one of three venues currently available from TOC. All three sites operate off a single username and password. The game selection is the same as is found at any other venue on the RTG platform with over 200 slots ready for play on mobile, browser, or desktop.

The bonus offers are generous, especially considering you can shop for the best offers from site to site. The basic wagering requirements and other bonus terms are great so far with high percentage matches, relatively low wagering requirements, and no max cashouts imposed. Free spins, chips, and comps do have max cashouts as is expected almost everywhere now.

I would prefer to play where I can cash out BTC on weekends but a little patience never hurt anyone. On first blush, the fees for subsequent withdrawals using certain methods seem unfair. They do phrase the term as to “help contribute to the costs”, but still…

All in all, it does look like a decent operation. There aren’t any potentially predatory terms and the conditions are all spelled out in plain English with no “lawyer-speak”. I would prefer to see a max cashout per transaction in the terms because I don’t believe the one listed in the cashier - but - I haven’t attempted a withdrawal yet.

I’m not personally too concerned about the lack of a license seal because I know they are most certainly licensed somewhere - there’s no such thing as an “unlicensed casino” operating in the USA beyond pop-up clip joints that disappear just as fast. The IMF’s Financial Action Task Force (FATF) would make short work of them and RedCherry has been operating for many months now with no indication of being bad actors.
