LTC Casino Review Jump to comments
LTC Casino is an online crypto-powered gambling site open to players everywhere, including Australia, the USA, Canada, Germany, and New Zealand. It’s a highly anonymized site so if they hold a license, it isn’t noted.
We viewed the game selection from Malaysia, the US, and Canada after registering an account with only an email address, password, and date of birth and found Tom Horn, Pragmatic Play, TrueLab, and Habanero slots, as well as Pragmatic Play Live, and Evolution Live games - providers not usually available from one or more of those regions.
If you are wondering how they are able to provide games outside of the regularly regulated markets, the fact that they not only allow the use of a VPN but actually encourage it.
In their words…
“As you might have guessed, a VPN also allows you to access online casinos seamlessly. An online casino may accept players from your country, but certain games still may not be displayed or be unavailable. VPN also helps solve this problem…
“LTC [...], allows VPN for online gambling without any restrictions. This way, players can access games otherwise unavailable in their countries and remain anonymous while playing.”
Obviously, regardless of the site’s management ethics, the anonymity factor runs in both directions - since you don’t have to provide documents or verify anything else, they expect you to be okay with not knowing anything about the operator’s history, track record, or if they have ever even provided online gambling services before. That leaves the primary decision of whether to play or not up to trust and perhaps a gamble of another type than spinning the reels.
Since we can’t address that element due to the site being a late 2021 entry into the online gambling sphere, no listed license, and no relevant “about us” section to begin our sleuthing with - we are reduced to examining in the software and games, any bonuses that might be offered, banking terms and various cryptocurrency payment methods, customer service, the inevitable pitfalls (no one site is perfect for every player) and a summary of what we learn along the way.
With that being said, we will mention that we find no complaints. At today’s exchange rates withdrawals are limited to about $10,000 per day, $25,000 per week, and $50,000 (1BTC) per month. A representative is available on public forums to answer questions and address any complaints or disputes for all the world to see how they handle customers.

Software and Games
If you’ve ever been to a landbased casino in Las Vegas or anywhere else, you might not have noticed, but there was nobody on the casino floor from Bally, IGT, Aristocrat, or any other vendor making sure that you were allowed to play the slots or whatever other games the cabinets placed on the floor by those providers offered.
In the land-based world, KYC or “know your customer”, AML, and other regulatory and legal responsibilities are completely in the domain of the casino itself. That’s the way it would seem to work here too. That’s why we see games from certain providers who would not knowingly allow their product to be served in areas the provider is not licensed in.
That doesn’t mean the games are or are not exactly as you would play if you accessed the site from Europe and the operation was licensed by Maltese authorities or even the Gambling Commission in Great Britain. It just means the operators have taken it upon themselves to extend games to you without the explicit knowledge or permission of the provider.
While I didn’t examine every game, the ones I did dissect forensically appear for all intents and purposes and most likely are "factory-made" - international gambling lab-certified, and self-same titles. The arts, animation, and paytables are authentic or at least masterful reproductions, and it can be assumed that the maths are the same as well in most cases.
The variance in that might be the theoretical return to player percentages of the games (RTP). Some providers allow operators a range of RTP settings. The ‘dirty little secret’ is not so secret - when the games are provided in a jurisdiction that requires RTP to be published, they are usually set to the highest return. Where published RTP is not a licensing condition, they can be ordered from the vendor at any of the available settings in a range that is usually anywhere from 93% to 98% or thereabouts. It’s a box of chocolates, grab one and enjoy, you never know what you’re going to get!
The site’s theme is well-stated with teletype-like fonts of blue on a dark gray background with white highlights. Some sections of the site resemble a trading terminal to some degree with white type set against a dark background and composed in blocks. The crypto-theme is carried well.
Getting around becomes intuitive but only when second nature is entrained - Some clicks that ‘should’ provide a list of games or other options, instead bring up descriptions or details in maximum verbosity - this is the case when using the top menu with a wider-than-tall browser window. In order to see a list of options on a vertical menu on the left and a horizontal list of game providers - click the LTC logo in the upper left corner.
Here we find two sections from the top down and three links at the bottom of the column:
Slots
- New
- Popular
- Buy Bonus
Live
- Game Shows
- Roulette
- Blackjack
- Baccarat
- Poker
Followed by Wiki, Support, and language options - we’ll go into each as we progress.
The slots
The ‘new’ and ‘popular’ sub-sections of slots are what they are with no real surprises. Pragmatic Play’s The Dog House Megaways was on the top tier of popular games as were bGaming’s Dig Dig Digger and Amatic’s Book of Aztecs. The selection is expanded by scrolling to the bottom of the page and selecting “Show More” to load a new batch of games.
Buy Bonus
This is a game category that might not be familiar to most Americans or other players in ‘backward’ regulatory jurisdictions - but this “game mechanic” is nearly as popular in Europe and beyond as the possibly new-to-you Megaways games with over 100,000 changing virtual paylines on every spin. Unfortunately, there is not a Megaways category here and the text search box doesn’t return results even as we look at one of the games in the Bonus Buy category - C’est la vie!
While each developer may call it by another name, usually trademarked, and while the options will vary from one studio’s games to the next - these all have one thing in common. You won’t have to spin and spin and spin in hopes of triggering free games, you can simply put up a higher stake and trigger it with the next spin!
When the maths are developed for a game, it is known that a feature or other element will be triggered, on average, every x# of spins. This varies from game to game, and there are plenty of other variables too, such as RTP and volatility of the base games, the bonus game, and their mean.
We have yet to see the technical data on any of the bonus buy games and reverse engineering is not really an option these days since most slots no longer work on a one-to-one relationship between reel strips and the paytable. In fact, even the UKGC doesn’t care how the payouts are arrived at insofar as triggers and weightings as long the actual RTP of a game comes within range of the theoretical RTP in accord with its volatility - low V games even out quicker, high V games take longer to reach the mean.
Generally though, if a game’s feature is triggered on average every 100 spins (regardless of the average or potential payout of the feature), a bonus buy should cost you right around 100x your regular bet. Simply click the button, choose your options, confirm, and the next bet is 100x with the result on the reels being a feature trigger, such as three scatters.
Some games let you pay for fewer spins or more, and some games should let you buy 4 or even five scatters - but we haven’t found any of those yet.
There are well over 120 Buy Bonus games on here, but very few that were originally released with the mechanic. The reason for this is that the choice is hugely popular among players and it doesn’t take much work in the labs and studios to retrofit any bonus game with the feature.
Choose by the provider
As mentioned earlier, along the top of the page, above the slots, you’ll find a clickable logo link for each of the game providers. This is a super handy feature for some players, like me.
I’m simply enthralled by the brilliant arts and maths of Spinomenal games - the closer I look at them, either the graphics or the paytables and features, the more I’ve come to appreciate them.
I’ve long had a soft spot for Habanero slots, not only for the diversity in themes, titles, art, and math, but because some of my profitable and memorable playtimes have been on games like Fire Rooster, Jugglenaught, and The Dead Escape - but it can also be a blast to play completely different titles like Coyote Crash or Scruffy Scallywags! I just get a keen hankering to play them sometimes and nothing else will do.
Considering the fact the operator is providing unsanctioned games in restricted markets I don’t quite understand why they have included Platipus and Nucleus games rather than the soul-sister catalogs of Play Reels or BetSoft - one makes sense (Platipus is in the UK, so okay) but the other doesn’t [Nucleus games are direct copies of BetSoft games (with different art) which were presumably relabeled for use in restricted markets].
Live games
Players in the USA and other restricted markets simply never get a chance to play games from Pragmatic Play Live or Evolution unless they travel (or now, use a VPN with the operator’s permission but not the provider’s).
I would personally steer clear of any of the jackpot games just in case the provider does verifications - however, there are plenty of ‘straight’ gambling tables and card games with no progressive or random jackpots - those could possibly be safe to play.
The game show section is very alluring but again, I’d hate to go for broke and skin the casino on a Cash or Crash streak only to have Evolution deny the payout if I didn’t submit to publicity - I’m not sure that’s an issue, I just think it would be safer to not win a million dollars here.
Wiki is a well-populated knowledge base of articles covering everything from how to buy crypto with Apple Pay to Bitcoin slots with the highest payouts and everything in between - you can learn about free and premium VPNs, how to set up a crypto wallet and exchange coins, market trends and growth expectations for crypto-casinos, history and just about anything else related to the sites’ particular niche.
Support brings up contact information including a link to live chat and an email address.
Language options are vast with over 13 choices. You can find them all in the dropdown menu elsewhere on this page but we’ll mention English, German, Russian, Portuguese, and Korean for a primer.
Bonuses and Promotions
What you see is what you get… nothing. This venue is not competing for the commercial mass online gaming trade so they don’t need to offer deposit incentives. However, when opening the Wallet (cashier) there is a link to type in a promo code, so they must offer bonuses occasionally.
Banking and Customer Service
All I can say about banking here is that they seem to transact in cryptocurrency only. I saw Litecoin (LTC), XRP, BTC, ETH, and DOG. You need to add the coin to your wallet and the system will generate a crypto address for you to send the funds.
Withdrawals are stated as immediate. However, when I visited the site I was not able to access any of the terms and conditions, rather, the page that appeared was for deposit options.
Pitfalls
- No license
- No bonuses
- No T&C
- Unknown operators
The Final Word
Looking at the pitfalls here I would normally suggest you run to the hardware store and grab a ten-foot pole and then advise not to touch it along with an admonition to drop that pole and run away rather than walk…
So, why am I not going to do that?
I’ve done my duty in reporting all there is to know at this point about LTC Casino, and I won’t try to influence your decision one way or the other simply because I couldn’t do that with any integrity. See… I gravely miss playing Habanero slots - they call to me, and I yearn for them. So I’m going to wait until the next time I am operating at a profit or maybe just a nice cashout at one of my favorite instant pay US-facing crypto casinos I’ve been playing at for a few years, and I’m going to deposit here.
But that’s just me. Yes, once in for a dime I’ll be in for a dollar so I might as well play some of the other games I never get a chance to gamble on.
If I win, will I be paid? I think so. If not I’ll just go on over to LCB.org and find the representative to ask why in a public forum.
As well, win or lose, or even if I think better of it later - I can always go to the responsible gambling tab and immediately self-exclude for a week, a month, 3 months, or a year.
Your mileage may vary.
What I like about the site other than the game selection is the speed and certainty of crypto deposits and withdrawals. Being in the USA I can convert my coins into USD on Coinbase and immediately cash the funds out to my PayPal account - and that is money in the bank. All of the other crypto sites I play at from here pay me within 15 minutes and it usually clears Coinbase with 4 confirmations in about the same amount of time. That means that within half an hour of hitting the button I can be spending my winnings.
With the daily withdrawal limits at +/- $10,000 here, I don’t even have to build up to VIP status to cash out several thousand dollars several times a week - I just have to get lucky. And with no bonuses comes the freedom of no encumbrances on my own funds while a gamble on whether or not I will complete the wagering requirements.
Granted, it’s not likely this operation will be around forever and I’m never going to use the wallet there (cashier) as a place to store value - I’ll get in, win or lose, and get out. At the first sign of sketchiness I’ll hit that self-exclude button and be done with it.
You, dear reader, must make up your own mind. There are plenty of other venues here with high ratings. Anything near the top of a list or anything with 3.5 or more stars is a pretty sure bet.
