Everygame Poker Review

Everygame Poker is the rebranded Intertops Poker which has been online since it was added to the Intertops casino and sportsbook in 2003, making it the first fully integrated multi-vertical gambling site online with a single wallet.

The Everygame story goes back much further though and holds several “internet first” moments. After starting out as a sportsbook in Germany the company moved to England and eventually took the first sports bet ever over the Internet. While the evolution from the telephone and snail mail might seem obvious now, the move to fax machines to provide betting slips and to take bets then to the internet took innovation, luck, and brilliance.

Today, Everygame poker offers players in the US and elsewhere (but not Germany) a top-quality all-in-one gambling site. While poker is the focus, sharp players would keep in mind that with two distinct stand-alone casinos onsite where players can enjoy a plethora of casino games, a poker lobby casino, and a world-famous sportsbook, there are going to be recreational players at the tables as often as not. While that makes the pots more accessible to seasoned players, the lower volume of traffic compared to the most popular sites also means the pots can be lower.

Players can download the poker app/desktop client or access the secure HTML5 portal for instant play on up to three tables at a time without downloading any software. All mobile devices, Android or iOS will access the instant play version.

The site is Incorporated and licensed in Curacao, (formerly the Netherlands Antilles) and all verticals comply with AML/KYC protocols so you know your money isn’t doing “bad things” while it’s tied up between deposits and cashouts on the site.

Everygame Poker is well known for quick payouts as soon as your documents are approved (KYC) and the site takes all major credit/debit cards as well as several cryptocurrencies like BTC, BitcoinCash, and Litecoin. Withdrawals are quick and easy with all the standard methods as well as innovative solutions like a debit card in the mail with your funds on it.

Bonuses, promotions, rakeback, and loyalty rewards are all part of the Everygame experience with 36% standard Rakeback paid in $10 increments directly to your account daily, frequent player points (FPP), as well as a Poker Welcome Bonus and Poker Reload Bonuses.

Everygame Poker gives players a reliable network (Horizon est. 2016) and a stable client that won’t stop your play with data dropouts or excessive lag. Look for Texas Hold'em, Omaha, and Omaha Hi/Low for instant play along with Sit and Goes, and a dozen different tournaments to try your hand at - some are easygoing, and others will test your mettle for the big bucks.

Look for Bubble Protection on qualifying tournaments to get your buy-in and entry fees returned to your account balance if you miss out on a cash prize in the specially marked tournaments.

Everygame Poker might have a less-than-familiar name to many players, but the operation is as good as ancient by online poker standards, rock solid, and winners always get their payouts - it’s the same for the sportsbook as well as Everygame Casino (Realtime Gaming) and Everygame Casino Classic (WGS, Dragon Gaming).

The poker client also has its own built-in casino featuring Betsoft, World Match, and Tangente games. It’s just how they roll. I recall times in the aftermath of Black Friday when most of the “civilized world” stopped serving US players and people’s funds were stuck for more than a minute. The operators kept cool level heads and figured out how to pay players across all their products. It got heated at times but faith in an operator is really all you have in some markets and this is an operator that can be counted on through thick and thin.

Software and Games

Players have seen a few changes in the user interface over the years, and that’s to be expected with tech advances and regular site improvements. However, the format hasn’t really changed much since the Cake Poker days.

While we aren’t privy to the source code or other elements of the Horizon Poker Network it is an evolution of the Revolution and Cake networks - whether that is by virtue of actual code, the people executing it, or both.

I’ll illustrate: “This is my Grandaddy’s axe. I’ve changed the handle twice and the head once, but it’s still my Grandaddy’s ax!

A download client and H/5 instant play are both available.

The Horizon Network gets a limited amount of traffic, so while there might be easy pickings with the recreational cross-over from sports and casinos, you won’t find a lot of tables open or big pots on an average day. High-stakes cash games are limited at best. Look for good weekend tournaments with up to $10k up for grabs on Sundays and other tourneys with prize pools up to $25k and above.

The graphics are rudimentary 3D renderings just as you’ll see almost anywhere you can play real money poker in the USA and other underserved, state-monopoly-controlled jurisdictions today. It’s really a crying shame that Everygame hasn’t stayed at the vanguard of innovation considering the fact the founder and his team more or less invented most parts of the model that all online players use today.

Looking at history you would expect Everygame Poker to be the standard-bearer for VR poker, but there are a lot of reasons it isn’t. The money just isn’t there. It can’t be pulled from ongoing revenue and it can’t be invested thanks to the insane interpretations of US “gambling law”. Tens of billions have been invested in VR by major developers like Meta (Facebook) and it just hasn’t “popped” yet for online operators.

There are a lot of reasons for that too, not the least of which is a lack of studies and conclusions about not just responsible gambling but meta-marketing in general, and the mental health implications of living in an alternative world even if it's only for a few hours a day.

That doesn’t mean that vibrant 3D games or even F2F avatars couldn’t be plugged in - they probably could, but why? Online poker players seem to be happier with no distractions in their UX so Everygame Poker is simply online poker for real money, in a similar environment to any other.

One difference for players in the US here is that you can bounce out to bet on sports or play at one of the Everygame casinos just by clicking on a link at the top of your page on the instant play client. While the wallet is integrated and your funds are accessible from within any of the verticals you will need a separate account login for poker.

Random Number Generator (RNG) and Shuffling

Everygame Poker uses Microsoft’s CryptoAPI RNG to guarantee uniform and random distribution of cards. The software doesn't know or care who’s playing and no data from the game itself is ever fed into the solution. It’s more of a call-and-response mechanism. When a random card is called for in the game it simply generates one that is still available in the virtual deck. It doesn’t cheat because it can’t and that makes RNG shuffling and dealing more impartial and fair than is possible with a human dealer.

RNG Certification

Technical Systems Testing (TST) is a subsidiary of Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) and furnishes a completely independent and impartial testing, auditing, and certification service for regulators, operators, suppliers, and manufacturers. The Everygame Poker RNG is fully tested and certified by the world's most trusted company for testing, inspection, and certification services.

Microsoft CryptoAPI RNG

The RNG itself is “cryptographically-secure” and completely random. Microsoft’s CryptoAPI RNG is so utterly random that even a huge computer analysis cannot detect or predict any patterns in the output. Everygame Poker’s RNG randomness has been validated by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) via Microsoft’s CryptoAPI RNG and tested by NIST's Cryptographic Module Validation Program. The RNG is fully compliant with Federal Information Processing Standard 186-2 appendix 3.1, using SHA-1 as the G function.

Everygame Poker Action

Cash games and tournament action is mixed. You’ll be able to see tournament times and the number of players who have signed up to play at any time. Cash games can get pretty busy, and keep in mind that you can open up to three tables at once on the instant play client - that doesn’t mean you can have unlimited tables open while you hop around your favorite three - once you open a table that counts toward your total.

Advanced players might want to use tools to analyze the action, but simply popping in and checking schedules will show you when the most traffic should appear. That’s not to say those are players you are after, but they might be. I’d be looking to find historical variance and then back the tournament data out before starting a fish hunt. You’d probably be looking for higher traffic based on the sportsbook calendar or more casino players - either generated from real-world paydays or special casino bonus promotions.

That should soften up the action enough to find the tables with plenty of opportunity for your way of playing.

Conversely, punters who take down the book and slot players who make out well should plan to stay put if they aren’t ready to meet a shark and hold their own. The good news for crossover players is that most of the tables are “cash lite” so you can get your feet wet without getting your butt kicked too hard until you get on top of your game.

Have you got what it takes to sniff out the sharks from the fish?

Look for blinds as low as $0.02/$0.04 and as high as $100/$200

Look for the games you like and the ways you like to play in all variants with fixed limit, no limit, and pot limit. It’s basic poker with a bunch of punch-ups.

Sit and goes are mostly low limit. If you rely too much on data trackers to keep the numbers tight, you’ll blow it in predicting when to play and how to play. Trust your gut. There are actually big pickings available to accumulate here if you take your time.

Responsible gamblers coming from prognostication-based gambling or slot wins can play within their personal limits or lose their assets as well, but I won’t use the “D” word.

Note to new players: It is usually small stakes. Stay there until you are ready. Just don’t get comfy winning, that is going to change if you stretch too much. Work it up, one hand at a time.

Tournament play

We find about a dozen links to more information on tournament action here. Some are perennial series and numbered while others are standardized. The Tournament Lobby loads in both the download software and the instant play client. Following are just some of the tourneys we find listed as of review time.

  • Daily Freerolls
  • Depositor Freerolls
  • Freeroll Tourneys to win free bets in the sportsbook
  • Wipeout Series
  • Summit Series
  • Sundowners (multiple geo-based - Stockholm, Honolulu, Los Angeles, etc.)
  • Sit and Goes
  • Bounties
  • Star Tournaments
  • Sunday Myriad
  • Soft Series (Annual - $40k in prizes, 10th event is $25k GTD)
  • The Sunday Six Max SUPERSTACK
  • MORE!

SnG Tournaments

These tournaments offer fixed payouts for the top few finishers. They are single-elimination, knockout, or sudden-death tournaments with the loser of each match getting the boot. These are fast-paced tournaments with quick turnover. Even a 9-hand game can wrap up within an hour - get your action in when you want to and then move along to other things if you only want to compete for a little while today.

To play in one of these tournaments simply fire up the software or go instant play and click on the “Sit and Go” tab to see all of the game choices available. Drill down deeper by clicking on a preferred format such as 1-table / Heads-up or Satellite.

Keep tabs on the schedules or be sure to sign up for the newsletter to learn about new formats that are being introduced all the time.

Of course, all schedules, tournaments, and times are subject to change so you’ll have to visit the room to find the current offers. The Sunday Six Max is held once a week and currently offers three buy-ins throughout the day - each with a higher buy-in and a progressively richer guaranteed prize.

Bonuses and Promotions

Look for a generous welcome bonus as well as plenty of daily chances to fatten up your bankroll. Poker bonuses work differently than casino bonuses do and you’ll need to earn Frequent Player Points (FPP) by playing in order to free it up your cash.

Some poker bonuses come with free spins or free sports bets, just contact customer service after making your deposit and claiming a bonus to have them activated.

The welcome bonus has to be claimed within 24 hours of depositing and you’ll have 90 days to meet the wagering requirements to free it up. The bonus is released into your account in $5 increments. Frequent players will redeem the entire value of their bonus while less frequent players will simply enjoy “cash back” as they play and might not collect all of the FPPs needed to redeem the whole amount.

The current standard rate for FPP transfers is one point for every $1 paid in rake or seven points for every dollar paid in entry fees for tournaments.

How to get your bonus

  • Open up the download desktop or instant play browser client. Log in and go to the 'Cashier'
  • Select a deposit option from the list and if you need help, customer service can help you on Live Chat
  • Follow the directions as they are laid out and key in the required information
  • Once your deposit is accepted (usually instant) click the button 'Bonus Code', key in the code, and click the button to 'Redeem Bonus'

The bonus will be applied to your account instantly. You can go to “My Profile” to read the details of the bonus.

If free spins come with your bonus, follow the prompts and request the spins from customer service. They are usually restricted to just a few games. They will probably have a wagering requirement attached. The casino bonuses are usually required to be turned over 30 times. There will also most likely be a max cashout term attached. In the past, we’ve seen a maximum of $250 which can be won and cashed out from the free spins.

You can reach the casino lobby via a link at the top of the poker client once your spins have been activated.

You have 48 hours after depositing to use the spins and 7 days to complete wagering requirements in most cases. Please be sure to check the offers at the top of this page or visit the website for current terms and offers.

Gold Chips (Frequent Player Points)

Your FPP can be converted into a “no deposit bonus” whenever you have accumulated enough points. Once awarded in your account the FPP are automatically converted into Gold Chips. All play at real money tables and in paid tournaments will earn FPP. Every 100 FPP will convert into one Gold Chip.

Use the Chips to redeem prizes or enter free tournaments. There are even special 'Gold Chips Sit and Go' tournaments you will find in the lobby.

Win Spins and Win Your Bets

Look for these special freeroll tourneys where you can place in the top tier to win either free spins or free bets in the sports book. Each vertical has its own bonus terms. Please visit for current terms and limits.

Loyalty Levels

The loyalty scheme is deep and broad with 50 tiered levels and rewards every step of the way. The first level starts with a single tier with more being added as you progress. Once you have earned the 11th level you will never fall back below level 10. Active players will likely never lose a level as you have two months to earn the FPP needed to maintain your status.

Banking and Customer Service

Since cryptocurrencies are offered for deposits and withdrawals, many players with a crypto wallet will likely exercise this option. While payment methods can and do change over time, please check the cashier as soon as you sign up to make sure your favorite methods are available.

All major credit and debit cards are accepted including American Express. Bitcoin, Litecoin, and BitcoinCash work both ways. Only bank wires and Money Global deposits incur fees. Most methods are instant but BTC could take up to 10 minutes depending on network traffic. Litecoin is cheaper on your end and is usually the fastest way to deposit crypto.

Withdrawals are processed Monday through Friday. The process doesn’t usually start until 48 hours (two business days) after your cash out goes through the cashier page. When the pending period is over, processing will start. Bitcoin etc., are the fastest to process while eWallets cashouts will be available in 48 hours, checks should arrive in 5 business days, and bank wire transfers will be accessible in 10-15 business days. Checks and bank wire withdrawals can incur fees just like most anywhere else.

Live chat and email contacts are available and there is a small but concise and useful FAQ. Be sure to scroll to the bottom of the web page to find news, press releases, and well-written, helpful poker articles. The site is a treasure trove of valuable information with hundreds of articles to peruse at your leisure. Check it out!

Pitfalls

  • Relatively long pending time for payouts (48 hours)
  • Few high stakes cash games
  • Not likely to go head to head with a famous poker pro
  • A limited number of cash game variants (Hold'em, Omaha, and Omaha Hi-Lo)

The Final Word

Everygame Poker is a great place for players in the USA and elsewhere to find online poker around the clock. The competition is not as tough as it is in some rooms and there are plenty of low buy-ins to be had. That’s good for the newer players and they can present opportunities for more seasoned players.

Freerolls are a great way for novices to sharpen up their games with no risk to funds and the low-end games offer “cheap fun” too. And serious players can sometimes find tournaments with buy-ins as high as $200 with big cash prizes.

We rarely if ever hear of bot play and management keeps a pretty sharp eye out for anomalous play, with the community looking out for each other as well. The card shuffling RNG is as good as it gets and while there’s actually no such thing as a perfect RNG, they have to be seeded from somewhere, the card distribution is absolutely unpredictable and not capable of being manipulated.

The welcome bonus is a juicy enticement but just like any other poker bonus, you can’t just take the money and play with it right away to make money off of “their money”, you’ll need to earn it through playing games.

Banking is simple even for the most novice player with plenty of options and all the guidance you might need. The 48-hour pending time to cash out is a bit burdensome but compared to RNG casino play they likely need more time to audit play before releasing funds. This keeps the game safe and sound for everyone.
