Slots Ninja Casino Review Jump to comments

Slots Ninja Casino is US Friendly. The site is owned and operated by Entertainment Software Group N.V. of Curacao where it holds a license along with new legends CasinoMax, CherryJackpot, Roaring21, Spinfinity, and SlotsRoom.

Look for more than 150 real money online slots, progressive jackpots, and other games; live dealer streams from Visionary iGaming (ViG); one of the juiciest introductory bonuses you’ll find anywhere; plenty of banking options including instant crypto deposits and payouts within 24 hours, and a customer service team that knows how to have fun as well as when and how to act with the utmost professionalism and seriousness if you have a concern.

Late 2021 marked the announcement of this new brand, run by a team with over half a century of experience in online gaming. The operators formerly ran a small network of popular sites that underwent an ownership change and subsequently abandoned a decade and a half of best practices.

What could the good guys do?

In June 2017 they launched their own RTG operation for mobile, instant play, and download in CasinoMax. Within days the online gambling boards were lit up with the news that Tom, Martyn, and the rest of the trusted crew had set up shop.

They launched four more sites before this one and none of them have generated a single valid complaint in all that time. Not one.

But that’s not really a surprise to those of us who have played with them since the early/mid-2000s. Prior to the ownership/management change at the previous group they were involved in one, count that again please, one dispute where the community differed with the manager’s opinion.

What nobody could argue with was the fact they were simply enforcing an existing term that barred registered students from playing at their casinos. Today, that would be called responsible gambling. We don’t find the term at the new properties - now you simply have to be at least 21 years of age to register an account, even if your local laws allow gambling at an earlier age. That, again, sounds like a responsible gambling policy that protects vulnerable players.

No single operation can be perfect for every player out there. We’ll cover everything there is for an online gambler to know about Slots Ninja in this review. This is one of the very rare sites that, if I could, I would gently guide your hand to the VISIT button. I’ll do that now with words because I know you won’t be disappointed, but from here on out…

We’ll take a strictly objective look at:

  • Software and games found here, we’ll dig into the…
  • Bonuses and run a fine-toothed comb through the terms and conditions and examine the value subjectively (because everyone plays differently)...
  • Look at payment methods, banking options, payout times, etc.,
  • Compile a list of any pitfalls or potential negatives you might want to look for
  • Finally, we’ll sum it all up with a final word or two.

Let’s get cracking!

Software and Games

Slots Ninja runs on the RTG instant play platform for most people. It’s the most universal way to get real money games because it works on any type of device connected to the internet. Since all games are played within a bank-level encryption environment in a secure web browser they can be played on any smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop system with a browser.

Old-school online gamblers who might be looking for longtime favorites or others who may want a slightly larger selection of games can download the desktop client for Windows. However, there is no standalone casino lobby available for Mac.

While the gaming site has the same theme and overall look whether you are logged in or not, you won’t have access to advanced features or customer-specific offers until you register an account and log in. The main website is full of information and tempting offers but the casino lobby itself is laid out a bit differently. Everything you see once you enter the actual casino is usable in your quest to win.

There are three main administrative buttons in addition to a link to games.

  • Dedicated Coupons section (to choose bonuses)
  • Casino Cashier (for deposits and withdrawals)
  • Account - Change password, update details, talk to live chat, or enable Quickplay so you can log in straight from your email when you click on an offer

Note: It’s always a good idea and indeed mandatory to keep up to date on your registration, especially if you change addresses or phone numbers. This will help avoid unnecessary delays or worse when you cash out anywhere.

The Games section includes further subsections to help you drill down your choices. Most players head straight for the slots but you’ll also find other categories such as the following:

  • Progressives
  • Specialty
  • Table games
  • Video poker
  • Live Dealer
  • New games
  • Favorites

The progressive games are broken down further into network progressive slots and network progressive table games. This simply means that every bet on every game in the progressives category adds a little bit to the jackpot, which will be the same value at every RTG casino.

There are three Caribbean poker games with pooled jackpots, which makes them grow even faster and fall more often. Let 'Em Ride is not part of the pool but is still fed by players at all Realtime Gaming sites.

The progressive slots are all big money games with jackpots currently ranging from a bit over a quarter million dollars to two tiles with jackpots over a million - Megasaur and Aztec’s Millions. are the games with the largest progressive jackpots.

I’m partial to the game with the smallest jackpot, Spirit of the Inca. This game has five different bet levels and five different “boiling point” jackpots ranging from about $90,000 to well over a quarter of a million dollars. One awesome thing about this game is that you can play for as little as $0.50 per spin for the smallest jackpot and if you raise your bet to play for the next one, you can win either or both of them. When betting max you can win any or all of them.

The “boiling point” feature means that every one of them has to be awarded before it reaches a certain point with the lowest boiling point set at $100,000 and the largest at $500,000.

In the near distant past, RTG decided to remove a couple of “time one” progressive jackpot games that just weren’t performing and were really “clunky” and “retro” in an unattractive way. Rather than keeping players' funds - we all contributed to the jackpots - they rolled the funds over into this game as the seed or starting point. Keep an eye on these jackpots because as they get closer and closer to the boiling point they will grow faster and faster as more players take notice of the fact that someone somewhere is absolutely guaranteed to hit one!

Note: This is one of the only remaining RTG-platformed casinos that will let you play network progressives with an active bonus! The only other ones I know of are its sister sites.

Specialty games

This is a small suite of titles that currently includes European roulette, Keno, Banana Jones (Like Snakes and Ladders for money), and Fish Catch, a fish shooting game that can feel like you are controlling the outcome but the value of the targets is actually determined by a random number generator.

Table games

This section mostly repeats the Progressive table games section with the addition Tri Card Poker and three blackjack titles - 21 Blackjack (classic), Blackjack + Perfect Pairs, and Suit “em Up Blackjack.

Video Poker

There are 14 variants here with transparent and fair paytables. The Jacks or Better is 9/6, Full Pay with 800:1 for Royal FLush when betting all five coins of any size. Obviously, players will want to bet 5 nickels per hand rather than 1 quarter… just in case! Aces & Eights has perhaps the most generous paytable of any VP game online.

Live dealer games

When you first enter this gaming suite you will only see the blackjack tables. Look above the game icons in order to switch to roulette, baccarat, or Super 6 (which is just a side bet on the straight tables).

You can choose your dealer as well as table limits. Roulette starts at a dollar and goes up to $1,000 per spin with blackjack maxing out at $2,500 per hand. There are three tables with 7 seats each and unlimited bet behind and two tables with unlimited players.

Roulette features two croupier-assisted games and two automatic games.

Since the live games are run offsite by Visionary iGaming (ViG) you’ll need to transfer virtual funds from RNG to Live games and back to the main site before cashing out. It couldn’t be simpler… just choose an amount or “all” and select the corresponding button and the virtual transfer (chips not cash) is instantaneous.

Slots, slots, and more slots!

Spinlogic is the name of the slot labs and studios that have been producing slots on the RTG platform for some time now. You can learn a little more about the brand in our Spinlogic Software review.

Throughout the years, different studios have been tapped to make the modern video bonus slots found on the RTG platform. Games like the immortal Achilles were often referred to as Aussie slots because many of them were created there in the past. It’s unclear where the newest games are actually produced but that’s not as important as the fact they just keep pumping out great games!

Look for at least two new titles every month. The catalog is up to nearly 260 games, all told. You will need to download the desktop client if you have a PC and want to play some of the older games that haven’t been ported over or converted fully to HTML5 yet for instant browser play. If you know where and how to look at processes on your PC you’ll see that even the games on the download client are rendered in HTML5, but some still only run on the download software engine.

The average player will find plenty of games on the instant play browser platform - old timers might have favorites stuck in the production pipeline like Triton’s Treasures or others. We do see some titles that were feared lost like Lucky Tiger have been revamped with fixed paylines and re-released by Spinlogic. Often, these games are released with multiple changes in mechanics, themes, and renditions as “Deluxe” models - thankfully, when that is the case they also tend to leave the legacy game intact so players have two choices in the same vain or theme.

Look for exciting new mechanics and features as new games roll out. Some are innovative and unique while others are simply popular mechanics found on any number of other games from any number of makers - repurposed in a new setting or in new combinations.

Another thing players may notice about Spinlogic titles is that fewer of them hold the real Series random jackpots that can be won after any paid spin. It’s thought by some that this means the theoretical return to player percentages (RTP) are higher on the games without random jackpots as no portion of the RTP is going toward building the local jackpot. That is unclear as they don’t publish RTP and haven’t for over a decade. But it could make sense.

While we started on this review even before the site was launched - which was easy enough, knowing the operator’s integrity so well, the Software and Games and everything thereafter was written several months later. By now, all of the random jackpots have climbed enough to use the jackpot values to do some bootstrap and shoot-from-the-hips prognosticating.

When viewing the slots you can sort them according to the release date, alphabetically, or by jackpot value.

Sorting by jackpot level most of the popular games should be near the top as evidenced by the higher jackpots in the same basic range as the lower jackpots. When we visited today, the “top ten” were mostly Aussie slots like Achilles, Caesar’s Empire, Aladdin’s Wishes, Enchanted garden, etc., with the newest game being Cash Bandits 3.

Sidebar on Spinlogic vs RTG: Almost all of the HTML5 revamped legacy games have a fixed number of paylines. Achilles is an exception to the rule. However, Fruit Frenzy’s “Hail Mary” is no longer available because it has 25 lines staked no matter what. You won’t be able to dramatically increase the volatility by reducing the number of paylines staked, and you won’t be able to take advantage of the sweet spot unless you download the legacy version.

In the original game, you could bet more money on each line but far fewer lines and if you triggered the free spins it could stake all lines for you. This is not a software exploit or glitch, it was written into the game and the creator was made aware of it and chose not to “fix” it. They were also made aware of “two pears” appearing on the opening reels - indicating higher or lower RTP than when only one pear appeared and the designer’s words were something to the effect of, ‘No, we’ll leave it as a reminder to never be so sloppy again’.

To sum up the slots - there are still a lot of creative ways to play for the adventurous gambler and plenty of variety for anyone who likes to play online slots.

Bonuses and Promotions

I think the formula here is pretty straightforward and simple. Slots Ninja wants you to take a bonus and win. They want you to collect your winnings so you become familiar with the service team and processes, and they want you to have a good time so you’ll come back. There aren’t too many operators out there with such a simple philosophy these days, it’s a refreshing reminder of how it used to be in the heyday.

Personally, I prefer not to play with bonuses here but everyone should take the opening offers - especially since they give more than one chance for new customers to win. The playthrough is 40x and that’s the zinger for ongoing bonuses, but I find the slots to be looser (as if I could tell for sure) overall than most unrelated RTG gaming sites - especially those with high ongoing bonuses and lower playthrough requirements that aren’t tempered with max cashout rules.

  • Play progressive games if you want
  • Bet any amount per line as long as the max bet per spin isn’t exceeded
  • No max cashout on most bonuses

Players who want bonuses will always find plenty to choose from.

Banking and Customer Service

The site accepts a great variety of payment methods including cards that aren’t usually accepted elsewhere (Diners Club, AmEx, Discover) as well as more common cards like Visa and Mastercard. Canadian players will find their favorite banking methods and the site is Bitcoin and Altcoin friendly.

BTC and all deposits other than Altcoins which can take 5 minutes are instant.

Withdrawals are done via Bitcoin, bank wire, or check. Wires and checks have fees associated with them.

Customer service is top-notch here. You can be all serious and simply take care of business or have a great time with the representatives because they know how to have fun and help you keep it fun.

Pitfalls

  • Minimum deposits and withdrawals are relatively high ($35/$30)
  • No payouts back to cards
  • Relatively high wagering requirements (40xd+b)

The Final Word

Slots Ninja is another in an increasingly larger line of online gambling sites operated by industry veterans with decades of proven credibility and integrity. Sister sites in the group include CasinoMax, CherryJackpot, Roaring21, Spinfinity, and SlotsRoom. All sites have impeccable reputations - I would send my best friends to play at any of them.

The game selection is great and grows constantly. Players who take the time to download and access the legacy client will find hidden treasures that only a select few know about nowadays.

Live dealer suites are not that common at RTG casinos and ViG is a good provider.

Banking is easy and consistent and the bonus scheme is player friendly.

GREAT trustworthy casino. Made a deposit, cashed out. A little slow on the wire transfer but it went without a hitch besides that. Great customer service. LOVE the games!

I really like this casino! The layout is cool and updated which isn’t always the case for a RTG casino. I actually got to $20 up to $600 at one point but only got 2/3 of the play through completed. It was still fun and I got to bet big using a bonus which is rare and makes my adrenaline rush. All in all it was good!

I did the no deposit 40 spins and it turned out quite well for me. Ended up cashing out 200$ USD. Had to send verification documents and do a verification phone call, and make an initial deposit to be fully verified. If you depost by card the minimum was 35$ USD, but if you deposit bitcoin you only had to do 10$ USD which I did and now I got 200$ worth of BTC coming my way off of these free spins. Right on good deal.
