And although the About Us section informs us they are part of a seasoned group, they don’t go into any detail on who the operators actually are. The site bears the seal of Gaming Curacao, a Master license holder under the laws of Curacao. The icon is not hyperlinked to the actual license certificate so that’s no help and the copyright notice only relates to SlotsWin and its subsidiaries.

While we don’t find any complaints we also don’t find much in the way of unbiased player feedback or any comments at all. That means we’re reduced to exploring the software and games as well as the terms and conditions to look for anything of consequence out of the norm.

Banking, bonuses, and other elements will come to light in more detail as we explore the site before coming to a final conclusion.

Software and Games

The RTG platform is flexible and dynamic. It can deliver the same games and user interface along with bonuses, banking, and live chat over several different channels - mobile, browser, or desktop. When you play on mobile the games adjust to your orientation as well as screen resolution. If you play on a big screen, the display is scaled up to meet your needs.

I loaded the lobby on the Oculus Browser but wasn’t able to load games. One way to play stunning RTG slots on a virtual reality headset is to install a client agent called “Immersed”. Game selection and navigation

Why?

Each jackpot is fed with a portion of each bet, so obviously, free money bets can’t contribute to real jackpots and vice versa. When a random jackpot is awarded, it reseeds at its base level which is usually $1,000 and it grows again from there.

Aside from that, all of the mathematics, pay tables, volatility, return to player percentage (RTP), etc., is the same and both versions use the same random number generator (RNG). What you might win on a demo game, you could just as well have won playing for real money.

The “i” or info button brings up information such as volatility (low, medium, high, very high),  the game’s theme, number of pay lines, scatter symbols are identified as are wilds, and the jackpotting system if present is described (Local, progressive/ random/ Network, symbol driven, etc.)

New games

The RTG platform rolls out new games no less than once per month. Some of the newer titles are created by revamping older legacy titles and sometimes adding new feature mechanics. One thing I like about the New Games section here is that they don’t limit the display to three or four games. Here we currently find the last 15 new releases arranged by release date with the newest first.

Be sure to look in the promo section here for upcoming game announcements. For instance, when we visited we found a game that was not scheduled for release for another month (along with a special bonus related to it).

We were able to learn as much about the game from information posted on a single screen as we would by parsing the paytable after it is released. I’m excited about this particular game because the max win (not counting a jackpot) is almost twice as much as for the vast majority of RTG titles. Rather than 50,000x line bet, this one pays out up to 96,000x. 

That information may not be as important to new players or those who have never maxed out a feature on a slot, but for those of us that have had the bitter/sweet pleasure, it is exciting to imagine. Unfortunately, for me at least, the game has 40 fixed paylines so it’s not possible to buy more volatility by reducing the number of lines bet and increasing the bet per line to stay within the bonus terms. Still, it’s a lofty thought… the possibility of winning $960 from a single $0.40 spin, or $4,800 from a $2 go.

Slots

We’ll take a look at a few games in several categories here. Most players gravitate to the five-reel games because they are familiar and easy to understand. But here, we find games with a variety of reel sets. The three-reel games can be a lot like the 5x3 Real Series games because they have advanced bonus features and some even have progressive random jackpots!

Six-reel slots

IC Wins, Lucky 6, Ritchie Valens, Super 8, and The Big Bopper are the current residents of this suite. Almost all of them are high variance games and the first two, so much that the max allowed bet per spin is only $5.00

Hardly a session goes by that I don’t play IC Wins and Lucky 6. The minimum bet to play all lines on the latter is only $0.10 so it has been a bankroll saver more than once.

Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper have never been too kind to me, even after triggering the best of bonus features, but that’s the way it goes with high-risk/high-paying slots. Super 8 finally pad big for me recently so it’s kind of in a category of its own.

Five reels

The vast majority of the slot catalog resides here. A few of the titles have pooled random progressives so you might notice the jackpot amount will be the same for Eagle Shadowfist, Fantasy Mission Force, and Fire Dragon - all Jackie Chan branded martial arts-themed games with very different bonus mechanics among them.

Within the realm of 5-reel games, you’ll find a variety of reelsets and payline counts. One game that holds great potential is Kungfu Rooster. If you catch the big free spins bonus (number of games and multipliers awarded randomly) you might get 25 free games with the multiplier rising by a factor of one each spin!

Look for themes ranging from the Loch Ness Monster and Mystical Dragons to a whole subset of Asian-themed games with great bonus features including multi-level progressive free spins.

Four-reel and three-reel slots

As of the time of this review, there is only one 4-reel game in the inventory. Wild Fire 7s is basically a 3x3 slot with an additional bonus window that displays one position. Some spins are duds, and sometimes it lands on a game enhancement but there are no corresponding wins on the main game for it to add value to. After all, 0x5 is still Zero.

The special 4th reel can display multiplier symbols, a free games trigger, or even award the jackpot.

The multiplier can increase the value of a win between 2x and 5x. Triggering free games will start five spins with all pays 5x. If the Jackpot 7 symbol fills the window, the progressive jackpot is awarded.

Three-reels

Look for about half a dozen 3-reel slots in the instant play mobile or browser lobby. None of these are “classic slots” you need to download the desktop client to get old-fashioned games. One game, 777, allows you to buy stopped reels (such as 2 wilds, etc.). Once they’ve landed simply press “Hold” to see how much it will cost to respin the other reels and go for it if it seems like a good deal. There’s also a local progressive jackpot.

Magic Mushroom and Scuba Fishing are very similar games. They both pay 27 ways (any 3 adjacent matching symbols) and they both award a respin when the wild symbol fills the central reel.

You’ll have to download to play multi-hand and not all of them have been brought into the 21st Century yet. The welcome package we saw was huge with none of the five offers falling below 100%.

The terms are clearly spelled out. Wagering is 40xd+b and there is no max cashout term attached to any of the welcome package codes. The max bet is $10 per spin. The Final Word

SlotsWin is a newer online gambling site that accepts players from all over, including the USA.
