About the Company
MultiSlot is an Isle of Man-based casino and gaming solutions developer and provider founded in 2011. Licensed by the Gambling Commission in the UK, the firm has over 80 GLI (Gaming Labs) Certified real money gambling games for desktop and more than 60 for mobile play.
Development occurs for land-based, online, and social gaming sites. The company offers a range of additional services including custom development and bespoke games, a complete back-office solution, and game hosting.
CEO and co-founder Eric Jungels originated the company in 2010 but didn't enter the business field with his work until the next year. The company now has developers and artists producing work from as far away as Costa Rica, Romania, and the United States as well as the Isle of Man.
The company's portfolio contains about half a dozen types of table games and as many versions of video poker, but their forte is video slots. A few of the more well-known titles include Arctic Bear, Big Game Safari, Lucky Mermaid, and Moby Dick.
For a company founded by well-connected industry veterans, we don't find too much about them in the news. They would seem to be relying on their own remote game servers and aggregation platform rather than inking up a bunch of deals to ride along on Microgaming Quickfire, Leander LeGa, or the like.
Players in Asian markets may find the games at sites that use the Solid Gaming platform. This is a good match as many of the studio's games are Asian-focused. We also find BetConstruct carrying their games opening access to players in eastern and central Europe.
The games seem to have a sort of cult following when found on online sites like Videoslots.com, Mr Green, or Emu.
We find the games populating the slots lobby at fewer than 100 online casinos. Please see the list below for in-depth reviews of the sites that carry the games as well as links for MultiSlot bonuses.
Software and Games
The games we tested were all delivered in HTML5 and featured multi-lingual splash screens. Rather than simply stating "Loading, please wait" in English, the screen cycled through several different languages. That's a nice touch.
We can only guess that the discrepancy in numbers - (80+ desktop and 60+ mobile games) is down to a few legacy titles that haven't been recreated in HTML5 from the original Flash instant play versions.
However, we can't be exactly sure that would account for such a wide gap in the numbers as a desktop game of blackjack without a mobile or HTML5 designation loaded in a scant few seconds without asking for Flash permissions, while desktop roulette did ask. In the mobile section, the same roulette game was clearly labeled as "HTML5".
Products and Services
The company will take on any game development project from "concept to creation" providing art, sounds, maths, and feature mechanics.
A complete and scalable remote game server (RGS) is in operation along with an aggregation platform to deliver third-party developer games to operators.
The MultiSlot Back office provides tools to integrate live dealer streams, a poker client, or even a sports betting component.
The Bonus engine can deliver: "Targeted Free Spins, in-game bonuses, tournaments, cash bonuses with rollover or any bonus type you can dream up!"
In addition to online game creation and provenance, the company has supplied land casinos with server-based kiosk slots in the past and may still offer those services today.
The games
The HTML5 framework allows MultiSlot games to be played on any device with a web browser connected to the internet including Android and iOS smartphones and tablets, laptop and desktop PCs, or Macs.
The table games and video poker offering remains much the same as it was when the company launched with the exception of seemingly eliminating Stud Poker, bingo, and keno titles.

Video slots
Many of the games have a simple cartoonish style of art and a distinctive feel to them. Titles such as Magic Lamp and Fu Dragon couldn't be further apart in theme or presentation, yet you would probably know right away you are playing a MultiSlot game.
That's not to say the games are boring and predictable. They are not. They just have several signatures or fingerprints in aesthetics and game feel.
The musical scores can be somewhat overwhelming after a little while but you can turn them on, off, up, or down on the menu.
Feature triggers and other events use well-executed animations and sound effects, mystery mechanics build anticipation, and win celebrations are not so frequent or occur on such small wins as to become annoying.
Merlins Multipliers is a good example of the more recent releases.
Notable dynamics of this game include the animated wizard announcing free spins, and the single-position independent "reels" that cycle through a series of potential multipliers before resolving on one. When more than one multiplier is involved on a paying - 3x, 2x, 3x - the aggregate is awarded 18x.
There is also a match 3 bonus round.
Slot & Pepper is a colorful food-themed game with 25 pay lines. Special symbols include Wild, Bonus, and Scatter icons. Five wild symbols on a line pay 5,000x line bet.
The bonus symbols reside on reels 2, 3, and 4. When all of them appear in the base game a picking bonus is triggered. When you have matched three cash values among the 20 golden disks, that amount is awarded. The bonus cannot be triggered during free spins.
The most exciting feature of this game is the free spins. Landing 3, 4, or 5 scattered Slot & Pepper Shakers will award 10, 50, or 100 free games respectively.
Slot Wheels is a popular older game (2015) that may have also been released as a social game about the same time Lightning Box and MultiSlot were supplying Plaor with free-to-play content.
The artwork is nicely cartoonish in a graffiti style. We didn't expect to find innovative mechanics looking this far back but it shows the totality of MultiSlots' satisfaction with the tried and true. We don't find them breaking any molds in the past or in the present.
Slot Wheels has 5-reels and 25-pay lines a scatter bonus and free spins.
The Final Analysis
MultiSlot has produced a good volume of generally good games with no title rising to the level of becoming a favorite of this reviewer. As one who cut my teeth on Parlay, Chartwell, Wagerworks, Cryptologic (NextGen), and RTG - I can appreciate that the finer things sometimes come in simple packages.
That is the case with these games, at least the ones we have played so far. The theoretical return to player percentages (RTP) ranges from above 95% to about 98% RTP. The volatility is unknown but the maths models likely vary quite a bit.
We didn't take the time to compare paytables of the older games to determine if any were cloned copies of the others, but with games like this, it doesn't matter much.
Games we didn't try but look forward to playing include Vegetable Wars, Bird's Nest, and Mr. Caribbean. However, none of these seem to use any advanced or highly innovative mechanics.
If we were to compare the games to those of any other maker in the past it would be the NextGen games released under Cryptologic and Vegas-Tech brands. They aren't similar side by side, but each NextGen game is the same as any other like most MultiSlot games are similar to themselves.
