Music Wheel is hardly the first musical gambling option put out into the world. There have been some notable slot offerings, as well as some forgettable ones. But as far as we can tell, this is the first wheel game with a musical construction.

So how does it work?

The money wheel has 54 cells divided into 7 sections, and, as in roulette, there are 7 different kinds of bet available. Players can (and should!) mix and match the wagers they deploy.

Each is associated with a color, which helps organize the bets into larger subgroups, and a number, which indicates the payout multiplier relative to the size of the wager. For example, a winning 16 bet pays 16x the stake. This table illustrates the available bets clearly:

But two other elements set this game apart even further.

One is its bonus feature, with an appeal that lies in its simplicity. During every round of play, after the bets have been placed, a random wheel sector will be chosen to receive a bonus payout. If you wagered on one of the boosted cells, you’ll get a boosted payout.

How much of a boost? Well, that depends on the number of your bet. At one extreme, boosted number 2 bets pay 3:1 instead of 1:1 (a 300% increase), while at the other, boosted number 48 bets pay 74:1 instead of 47:1 (an increase of 65%). At any bet level, though, bonus wins provide an exciting and welcome boon to players’ bankrolls.

The other unique element is in the gaming details. Compared to most of its rivals, this offering comes with lower volatility. This means more wins arriving more often, although they will be slightly smaller in volume. As is usually the case, that lower volatility correlates to a slightly lower RTP than usual…

… in this case, that comes in at 95.5%. That’s a slight oversimplification, however. Without the bonuses, the RTP for all bets would be a mere 88.88%. With bonuses applied, though, the RTP varies for all number bets in the following ways: 2, 4, 6, and 16 bets come with an RTP of 95.24%; 12 and 24 number bets with 95.77%, and the 48 bet with 96.03%.

You have to give credit to Atmosfera’s design team… for a company that’s only been around since 2020, this is a firm who knows how to keep their games right in the middle of the conversation.
