Aristocrat Technologies Australia Pty Ltd is an Australian based slots and electric gaming table machine manufacturer that has been in the business for over 50 years. Aristocrat History

Aristocrat Online is part of Aristocrat Leisure Limited who were incorporated in 1933 as Ainsworth Consolidated Industries of Australia. Their first slot machines were manufactured in 1953 when Leonard Ainsworth assumed the helm of his father's company and converted production to slot machines. They entered the US market in Nevada in 1964 through an agent and released their first slot machine with electronic components in 1965. Their first video poker machine was released in 1979.

Aristocrat went public with their first listing on the Australian stock exchange (ALL) on 9 July, 1996. In 2001 they received their own license from Nevada and now 26% of their revenue is from the US. Aristocrat is the second largest slot machine manufacturer in the world, second only to IGT.

Although Len Ainsworth no longer is involved in the management of Aristocrat, his family still ocntrols about 40% of the stock Ainsworth is now the head of Ainsworth Game Technology who announced a deal with Bally to provide iGaming over their netwroks on about the same day that Bally Interactive entered the online market in April 2013.
