Yggdrasil certainly does since this is not the first pirate game they’ve developed!

Theme and Symbols

Pirates 2 Mutiny is a new game by Yggdrasil and it's even better than the first one!

The theme is based around a sunken pirate ship which serves as a background for the spinning reels.

Another thing you can notice in the background is a mountain that is shaped like a shark’s head…

…while up in front we have a lovely crab that is a bit shy if you click on her!

The graphics are pretty much high definition and sharp while the characters are…

...all drawn in a cartoonish style and they look fantastic.

The music also fits the whole pirate theme and it makes the game even more enjoyable!

As far as the symbols are concerned we’ll start from the bottom and work our way to the top.

Four playing suit cards are representing the low paying symbols and those are…

...diamonds, spades, hearts and clubs which pay up to 5€ for a full view.

Moving on to the medium paying symbols we have typical pirate equipment such as…

...Cutlass, Bottle, Hook and a Pistol which can pay anywhere from 12,50€ up to 20€ for a full view.

Lastly we have a pirate crew which consists of Red, Blue, Green and Purple pirates…

...where the Red Pirate is the most valuable symbol and will pay up to 50€ for a full view of 25.

We also have a Scatter Key symbol which as per usual servers as a tool to unlock Free Spins.

Betting Options and Features

Same as the previous release Pirates 2 Mutiny comes with a grid setup of 5x5 and 25 paylines.

However winning combinations are paid a bit differently in this title as we have…

...a cluster pays system which requires at least 6 or more of the same symbol…

...touching horizontally or vertically.

The betting range has been set from 20p and can go up to 100€ per spin.

This new slot is considered to be of medium volatility and has return to a player (RTP)...

...of 96.2% which is a decent percentage and will provide you with a payout on an average…

The maximum win is 4,400x your stake that comes with a multiplier of 25x.

Features...features...where do we start?

Dropdown Wins Feature - whenever you get a winning combination or a cluster of at least 6 symbols the non winning symbols are removed from the grid.

New symbols will drop down from above in order to make new winning combinations.

If you find yourself with two clusters present on the grid, the cluster with lower paying symbols…

...will be transformed into the cluster with higher paying symbols.

This feature will continue to go on until there are no new winning combinations.

Multiplier Feature - if you look to the right of the grid you’ll see that the multipliers are there and waiting for you to trigger them!

So how do you do that?

When you fill the rows with the same symbols you will trigger the following multiplier.

If you will one row a multiplier of x1 will be added, 2 rows will add a multiplier of x2…

...while 3 rows will add a multiplier of 3x.

Filling 4 rows will add a multiplier of x5 and if you are lucky enough to fill all 5 rows…

...with the same symbol you will trigger a multiplier of x25!

Tsunami Feature - this feature will happen at random during the Dropdown feature.

You’ll see the Tsunami splashing onto the grid rearranging the winning symbols and…

...retriggering the Dropdown.

Cannon Blast Feature - this feature will also happen at random.

A huge cannon will blast all of the low paying symbols in order to allow new…

...winning symbols to drop down from above.

Mutiny Feature - once again, happens at a random point in the game.

A big 3x3 symbol will land and reveal guaranteed 9 winning symbols.

Free Spins Feature - this feature is triggered by landing 3 of the Scatter Key symbols.

You will then be awarded with 7 free spins where 1 high paying symbol is chosen…

...to replace all other high paying symbols.

In addition this feature comes with multipliers that we previously mentioned but this time…

...they do not reset after each spin, therefore a maximum of 25x multiplier is easily reached.
