Doubles is a 5 reel, 3 row fruit slot. IT could be considered a hybrid slot of sorts with its 243 ways to win payout structure. Most fruit slots only have a few pay lines and little in the way of bonuses. Doubles is trying to bring fruit slots into the 21st century with its intuitive designs.

Game play controls could be designed slightly better, but I’m nitpicking at this point. There are lots of personal play options like auto play, sound and other controls. But, they feel clunky and awkward with their odd layout.

All pay lines will be played on each spin. You will also be playing 25 coins on each spin. There is no option to choose coin levels or pay lines. You can choose the amount to wager on each line though.

The game is suited for both beginners and those with larger bankrolls. Low betting requirements of just $0.25 a spin make it perfect for those looking a relaxing, yet fun and potentially profitable experience. The maximum bet is $50.00

Doubles Symbols

Doubles uses mostly fruit slot style symbols. The traditional watermelon, lemons and so on are all present on the reels. The fruits will be the lower paying symbols. The higher paying symbols are a star, horseshoe, lucky 7, and a diamond.

Three or more of any symbol makes a winning combination. You can get up to 10 symbols in a row with the double symbol feature. Some symbols will appear as a double and act as 2 symbols in one space. This equates to being able to hit a 10 symbol winning combination.

The highest payout is hitting 10 diamonds for a 25,000 coin payout.

Free Spins

The Doubles logo symbol acts as the scatter and triggers the free spin round. If 3 or more land anywhere on the reels you get at least 10 free spins. Four scatters will award 20 free spins. Finally, 5 scatters will award a whopping 40 free spins.

Before the free spins begin, you get to pick a symbol that will turn into a double symbol throughout all free spins.

Double Fun

I’m not usually a fan of fruit slots as they generally don’t have much that interests me. But, I did find Doubles to be highly entertaining and one of the better fruit slots I’ve seen. I must admit that the soundtrack was my favorite part of the game.
