Double Dragons is played on 25 fixed pay lines with 5 reels and 3 rows. The game has an Auto Play feature and a fixed coin value on 1 coin across the 25 pay lines, but the bet can be adjusted from 0.01 or 0.25 on 25 pay lines to a max bet of 5.00 per pay line or 125.00 total cash bet. Each time a bet is won the symbols are destroyed and new symbols fall from the top to replace them, filling 2 gauges to the left of the reels with blue and red. When the gauges have been filled both the fire and ice dragon will come flying out onto the reels transforming low paying symbols into Wild Symbols.

Wilds in Double Dragons are Red or Blue designed symbols with the word Wild sprawled across them. When 4 consecutive wins are achieved the Double Dragons Feature is activated, which adds 2 Highstack Wilds up to 28 symbols long to the reels. There are also special wilds called Dragon Heads that are either Fire Dragon Heads or Ice Dragon Heads. Fire Dragon Heads convert 2 to 3 regular symbols to Wilds, and Ice Dragon Heads multiplies your Dropdown wins by double.

Collecting 9 of either Dragon Head Wild will award 5 free spins, and Dragon Heads are stored in a gauge on the right side of the reel. Dragon Heads can only be collected during the regular game. In Free Spin mode only 2 Dropdown wins are needed to activate the Double Dragon feature.
