About the Company

Spinmatic Entertainment is an HTML5 slot game developer for internet, mobile, and land-based retail gambling businesses. The company set up their first office in Istanbul, Turkey in 2013, solidified business operations in 2015 and moved their commercial headquarters to Malta in 2017. They also have offices in Switzerland and Spain.

The year 2017 was a formative year for the company in other ways as well. They released six new games, attended important industry trade shows such as ICE Totally Gaming, SiGMA, EiG, and Enada Rome. They also announced that their random number generator (RNG) had been certified by iTech Labs. The RNG was tested according to Malta LGA Remote Gaming Regulations. In 2017 they also started interpreting their games into additional languages. Perhaps most importantly, in September they signed their first customer to release their games live.

The company seems to have set a goal of releasing 30 games per year. We currently find 11 games in their online portfolio, many of them available in demo mode. As we find live casinos carrying their games we will add further information here.

Software and Games

The first thing that struck us about Spinmatic slots was the artwork. The next thing is an element that too many developers seem to overlook; Not only were the paytables extremely well-written, brief and comprehensive - the artwork reflected the same attention to detail and perfection the game world and reel strips did.

When we reached back to their most historic release, Egyptian Stone, we found the same attention to detail in everything from the user interface to the purpose-built soundtrack. The narrative for each game gives players a sense of place and purpose, rather than simply a bunch of tired and repetitive symbols. While the artwork is not super-realistic 3D, it is not meant to be. Our guess is that they have pushed the envelope of depth, light, shading, and animation and balanced those elements against a lean and fast HTML5 execution that allows the games to load quickly and play without issue on any device.

Among their currently small selection of titles, we find a variety of RTP's, line counts, and features. Most of the games we tried seemed to be medium to high volatility, but without more data, we can't say for sure. The paytable alone doesn't give enough information to make that call without knowing hit frequency, and distribution of win percentages in the base game, base game features, and bonus mechanics, etc.

The Final Analysis

Spinmatic Entertainment's work to date ranges from very good to absolutely wonderful in our opinion. While I have to admit a weakness for well-done sci-fi slots, Code 243-0 is fast becoming a favorite. Now if they would just tell us where to find it for real money play the world would become a much brighter place.
