Riotby Mascot Gaming
It’s a time of instability and turmoil in this new offering because it’s all about a violent clash on the streets.
Riot, brought to you by Mascot Gaming, tells a thrilling story about the breakdown of society.
It’s a veritable dystopia on the streets of this unnamed city with the violent gangs, survivors, and the law fighting it out in three different extra spin modes.
Theme
It’s grimy and gloomy in this offering, but then again it is riot so what do you expect. A revolution is definitely not a dinner party because things are well past the boiling point.
On the reels, representatives from the three factions duke it out. The highest paying symbol is the heavily armed military man, and then you have the raiders, and finally the survivors.
And of course, there are card numbers in the low paying roles. It’s easier to image the end of the world than the trusty card numbers disappearing from online slots.
Overall, the developer has managed to get their vision across, and the game looks a lot like those post-apocalyptic video game offerings you see all the time on mobile and PCs.
Betting Options and Functions
It’s a classic 5x3 grid that this riot is taking place on. There are 15 paylines and a medium volatility.
You can automate the spins using the autospin option and you can also make the riot go by faster with the quick spin option.
The stakes go from 15 cents to a full maximum bet of 150 euros.
But there is one twist…
…and it comes in the form of a feature buy in. On any non-winning spin you will be able to purchase one of the three extra spins modes. Exactly which one is offered is determined by the game.
Also, on any winning spin you can risk your prize to get access to the extra spins. It’s up to you whether you use this feature or not.
Special Features
There are not one or two but three special features to be found here. They come in the form of three different extra spin modes, each with their own perks and gimmicks.
The Base Camp feature happens when three law scatters appear. In this feature, the military man symbol is an expanding wild and triggers a respin. The respins will go on until there’s new wins happening.
Next up is the Raze! Rave! In which the two Raze gang characters become sticky wilds. This mode is triggered by the tree Raze scatters.
And finally, the survivor extra spins are all about the multiplier. The x3 multiplier that is. It’s applied to any win happening during this mode which is activated when there is a win of four or more survivor symbols.
Of course, all these modes are also available for immediate access through the Risk and Buy feature if you choose to use it.
Our Take
It’s a violent free for all with multipliers, sticky and expanding wilds, and three different extra spin modes.
If you’re a fan of games with a lot of bells and whistles, you’ll enjoy this violent clash.
The best aspect of the game are definitely the multiple extra spin modes. The graphics and sound are also on a very high level making this one very solid entry into the developer’s catalog.
