Book of Tattoo 2by Fugaso

Tattoos used to be reserved for tough guys like criminals, sailors, and outlaw bikers. But those times are long gone and now adorning your body with ink is more or less a totally acceptable thing.
Everyone from actors to soccer moms is running to tattoo artists and getting under the needle to put something meaningful (or just pretty) on their body.
And now, here is a slot game celebrating tattoo culture and its artistry courtesy of developer Fugaso. In fact, this is the second time they’ve done since this offering is a sequel. They must really like tattoos over there.
Theme
The theme of the game is just as it says on the tin – tattoos. To celebrate the custom of using ink to draw pictures on bodies the developer has made symbols out of some of the most popular subjects for tattoos.
And so we have a skull (wearing a cowboy hat for some extra flair) as the highest paying symbol with the rest of them being fierce animals – tiger, shark, owl, and dragon. Yes, we known dragons are not real animals if they did exist they would be animals so it all works out.
It’s a menagerie of things people think when they think about tattoos in general. All the symbols are drawn in a style that resembles actual tattoos albeit colored ones.
The background is a bit different because it features lovely illustrations in black and white that look like they’re ripped from the pages of a portfolio of a very good tattoo artist.
Betting Options and Functions
This tribute to all things tattoo is a 5x3 game with 243 ways to win. That’s because paylines are gone. Winning combinations only require for the same symbol to present on consecutive reels, making it more likely that one will form.
To take a spin punters will need to stake a minimum of 20 cents, but the maximum bet goes all the way up to 40 euros. Not exactly high-roller but also nothing to sneeze at.
Adding to the excitement of this offering is the fact that there’s a progressive jackpot system. Three levels of jackpots can be potentially won and since they are progressive the sums are quite handsome.
Special Features
When it comes to special features developer Fugaso has inked some pretty cool stuff for the punters to enjoy.
Starting off there is the mystery symbol that appears randomly and reveals itself after the spin has completed. It can substitute any symbol other than the scatter. Connected to this is the mystery respin mechanic where if the symbols appear on the first three reels a respin is triggered. And if any more mystery symbols appear then the respins continue.
Finally, once in a while the mystery spin will be triggered in which the amount of mystery symbols that can land is greatly increased.
There are extra spins…
…and they activate when three scatters appear. The scatters are a book. A book of tattoos. Clever, isn’t it. Then spins are awarded and all mystery symbols lock in place during the mode. Also, two extra spins are awarded for every reel that gets completely covered by the mystery signs.
Our Take
The developer is celebrating tattoos and everything that goes along with them and we are here for it. It’s a game with good features and excellent graphics that really pop.
There’s been a lot of games with the “Book of” theme and this is one of the better ones so don’t miss it.
