Angle Gaming Labs
When you first enter Angler Gaming Labs website you are welcomed with what seems like a very modern experience. And even more so once you take a look at the various screenshots of projects they have been involved in. However, at the same time, you’re met with a scarcity of sources on what they have done recently.
Move on to YouTube or other social media sites, and the last updates are from a decade ago. It does seem like the company itself is still active, but it’s somewhat doubtful if they have done anything at all with the online casino space in a long time.
In fact, it seems like the only connection to online gaming this company has was redesigning 3Dice online casino. And that was quite some time ago. If we take a look at the other projects, they seem to include concept art for different video games, tools for different companies, and even projects for land-based gaming machines.
Overall, there isn’t really much information available on the company. We do know their website is still running, but at the same time, it seems like a bit of an empty shell. And this seems to be something that has been going over for quite a bit. The company seems to be stuck to its selected casino, which in turn is pretty much only interested in the Belgian casino market.
A Bit More Digging
If you head over to 3Dice casino, you’ll find out that according to them the software has been designed by a company called True Odds Gaming. All of these companies are Belgian, with the casino operating with a licence from Curacao. Now if we keep reading about the company, we find that they mention designing a casino named Reddice, which is running on a Belgian licence.
And if we take a look at the games, they seem to be the same whether we are talking about different casinos, or the two different software companies. And here is pretty much where the flow of information stops entirely.
It seems like this is a niche operator in the Belgian gaming scene, and even there it mostly uses software that was developed some decade ago, and perhaps upgraded and updated to a more modern setting shortly after. The companies don’t seem to have produced anything since then, nor is there anything in the way of news and information available.
But what about the games that do exist? Let’s have a look.
Casino Games Available
The company boasts to have produced over one hundred games for 3Dice, although it might be that a variety of these are simple upgrades. Such as adding in mobile support. It’s worth noting that the casinos we mentioned are the only places where you can get access to these slots.
To name a handful of games from Angle Gaming Labs:
- Candy Clouds
- Arctic Adventure
- Dynamite Joe
- Dice Fusion
- Lycantropics
- Legion
- Sakura Shrine
- Dynamite Dice
There’s considerable variation in these games. The older ones are, to put it bluntly, outdated. That’s probably why you don’t really see them much anymore over at the casino site. On the other hand, there are also a collection of modern slots, which would suggest that the company, whichever one it is, is still active to some degree.
Besides the online slots, you can find an assortment of table games from baccarat to red dog, and even keno. All sorts of video poker games are available too, though they don’t really offer anything new in this genre. All these are in fact a bit more numerous put together than just the slots. There are also some dice games in the selection, which actually seem like the games that are familiar from Air Dice Group.
Something More Than Classic?
With the gaming selection mostly stretching back a decade, the first obvious question is to check what sort of quality these games offer. Do they come with modern features, or is it all about fruit games and classic slots?
Quite the opposite. The latest slots take advantage of modern graphics, and also use different methods to calculate the wins, not just paylines. For example, cluster pays with avalanche wins are in use. Or, using paylines that pay both ways. These might not quite be something groundbreaking, but they are modern features and used in the latest slots from the company.
Special features aren’t all that numerous. Mostly the games rely on wilds, scatters, and bonus rounds. Sometimes these do come with additional modifiers, such as multipliers, or the ability to collect symbols. But overall, it’s not a very surprising setup of features.
Conclusion
Angle Gaming Labs is definitely a niche producer. So much so, that they only seem to be producing for a single casino site, or casino group. Primarily aimed at Belgian players, this company is not one to make waves in the industry. Mostly they use tested and true methods for local audiences.
The relationship with 3Dice Casino, and True Odds Gaming seems to be a close one, but there is not really any information available about anything related to all of this. Angle Gaming Labs does still hold an open website, and seems to be operational, but there is no channel for news, nor any updates in social media for over a decade.
So what is our conclusion on all this? If you want games not available anywhere else, try these games in the only place they are available at. But do notice that apart from this novelty feeling, the games themselves don’t have all that much to offer. At least when compared to all the other online casino software producers.
