From two to four hands of the Deuces and Jokers game are played at the same time, each drawn from a deck of 53 cards, at the user's choice. The first hand of five cards is dealt face up and the player then chooses which cards to hold by clicking either on the cards themselves or on the 'hold' button beneath them. These cards are then held throughout each of the remaining, as yet unseen hands.
The player then draws new cards, replacing those that were unwanted. The cards drawn in the original hand and the others may not be the same. Winning hands contain at least three of a kind, with both the deuce and the joker as wild cards to complete those winning combinations.
