Play up to three hands at a time against the dealer in this single deck blackjack game from ViG. The rules are a little tough only allowing double-down on 9,10, and 11 and no re-splits allowed but with three hands in play at a time and the cards only shuffled after every round, savvy players can get a slight leg up with a proper betting strategy.
If the first two cards in any hand total 9, 10 or 11 you may double that hand once. Click the double button to receive one more card, this being the final card for that hand. The most common use of this strategy is for a two card hand that totals 11. When playing three hands and no 10 value cards are showing you have a great chance to win this bet on the third hand.
Whenever the first two cards in any hand are of the same value – for instance 10 and K – you may split the hand. This makes two hands and another bet of equal value is applied. You may not split either of these hands again but may hit until you stay or bust. If Aces are split, each receives one card only. If you split 10's and the second card for a new hand is an ace it counts as 21 and not Blackjack.
