Blackjack is a time honored game originally known as 21. You are initially dealt two cards. Your objective is to use the point value of each card that you are dealt to reach the sum of 21 and no more. If you go over the amount of 21 you have busted and you lose that hand. Each card's point value is the same as its number. Face cards are worth 10 and an Ace can be worth 1 point or 11, your choice. You are playing one on one against the dealer. With each hand you are dealt you are allowed to ask for more using the term hit. If you are satisfied with your hand, you may stand.
Multi-hand Blackjack spices up the Blackjack game by allowing you to play several hands at once. You may start with an initial three hands and work your way up to five hands. Most of the rules and terms with Multi-handed Blackjack are the same as the Blackjack you already know and love, including; pushing, splitting, double-down, etc. The main difference is the extra hands that you are allowed to play at a time. You are also allowed to take out insurance to lower the cost of your losses. The expected payout for this type of blackjack is 99.5%.
