Rival Gaming logo

The bamboo forest is rockin, so don’t come knockin. The pandas are having a big party and your invited.

Panda Party from Rival Gaming is a video slot that impresses on all levels. Its Asian fused theme is both exciting and well designed. Everything from the bamboo forest in the background, to the cute little pandas are represented. This, along with other Asian inspired symbols will clearly portray everything Asian.

At first glance, Panda Party looks awesome. Once you start playing, it does get slightly confusing. And to be honest, the games instructions don’t do a good job of explaining all the bonuses. And if a game ever needed clarification on bonuses, its Panda Party.

That’s because there are lots of bonus features you need to be aware of. And how they work, are triggered and change will be the most difficult part to keep track of.

But have no fear, I’ve been to this party and had a great time. And now that I’ve recovered from my hangover, I can explain all you need to know about Panda Party.

Panda Party Rules

Panda Party has 5 reels and 3 rows of symbols. It’s a 20 pay line slot with varying bet levels. Up to 10 coins can be played per line, with the ability to choose how many lines you want to play at a time. Bet levels go from $0.01, up to $0.25 per coin.

The minimum bet using 10 coins is $2.00. The maximum would be $50.00 using 10 coins.

Game controls include a bet max option and auto play. The auto play will let you play a set amount of spins without having to keep hitting the spin button over and over. If you don’t want to break your mouse or laptop, use the auto play option. You will be playing this slot for a while.

Panda Party Symbols

Aside from the standard 9 through Ace symbols, you will find numerous symbols throughout Panda Party. The theme based symbols include a purple ball with a ribbon, Asian vase, dragon, green treasure chest, and the upright panda. The higher paying symbols are the upside down panda and the jackpot panda. The jackpot panda pays out 1,500x your line bet with 5 in a row.

The wild symbol is the pandas head that says wild. This also acts as multiplier when it creates a win. During normal spins it will be a 3x multiplier. During the various bonus rounds, it can go up to a 7x multiplier.

The scatter symbol is the panda with arrows on it. This symbol will trigger free spins.

Panda Party Bonus Rounds

The initial bonus round is the free spins when you get 3 or more scatters. This gives 8 free spins. During free spins, the wild symbol turns into a 5x multiplier.

During the bonus free spins, you can re-trigger another bonus round by getting 3 or more of the scatter. If you notice the lanterns at the top of the reels, they will start out as red. When they are red, and you re-trigger the free spins during the bonus round, this will take you to the Super Round.

This gives you another 8 free spins on top of the original ones. During the super round, wilds turn in to a 7x multiplier.

If the lanterns are green when you re-trigger the bonus round, you will go to the Pandamonium Round. This is the most lucrative round where you get a few extras. Wilds will go back to a 3x multiplier, but you will also get additional multipliers and bonuses.

The scatter symbol turns in to a jackpot symbol first off. This symbol, along with the upright panda, and the upside down panda will act as drop symbols. Each time one of these symbols hits the reels, it will give a payout multiplier that can go up to 64x.

Once the reels stop spinning and your initial win is paid out, the panda symbols will drop off the reels and allow additional symbols to fall in their place, possibly creating additional wins for that spin.

One of the best parts about the free spins is that each round counts as its own. If you trigger the initial free spins and then trigger the Super Round, you will get the additional 8 free spins from the Super Round, and then go back and finish your standard free spins. In total you would get 16 free spins in this scenario.

The one time I triggered the free spins, I won 24 free spins in total. Just to give you an example.

Panda Party is a Great Time

Yes, the bonuses can be a bit confusing at first, but who cares. They are as fun as any slot I’ve played. Watching all the mayhem that occurs gets my adrenaline pumping and the heart pounding. It’s a great slot to play that I highly recommend.
