When I first set eyes on Loco7’s, I was a bit underwhelmed. But shortly after spinning the Mexican themed reels, my initial reaction dissipated and was met with pleasure.

This slot is a testament to the developers at Real Time Entertainment. It shows they aren’t out to just flood the market with useless slots no one will like. It shows they are out to please to everyone, not just those who rely on graphics and glitz.

While its simple design and throwback feel may take you back to a time where players still had to pull a lever to play, Loco 7’s is certainly a modern day slot. Its available as a flash version that will work across multiple devices. No download necessary to play Loco 7’s.

Loco 7’s Rules

Loco 7’s is an homage to classic slot playing with its 3 reels and 1 pay line. You read that right, it only has 1 pay line. If you ever wondered what slots were like 50 years ago; this slot is a perfect example.

Although it only has 1 pay line, you can play a wide range of bets. Up to 3 coins can be played per spin with a value that goes from $0.01, up to $10. Even with a $10 max coin bet, the maximum total bet is still just $30.

Loco 7’s Symbols

The theme is a Mexican one. You will see this throughout the symbols, and the actual game design. The symbols can be broken down into 3 separate themes that each have a different level of payouts. The first level are the bar symbols that will be red, white and green – the colors of the Mexican flag.

The second set will be the variations of 7’s. You will have single 7 symbols, double 7, and triple 7 symbols.

The final set of symbols are the chili peppers. Just like the bar symbols, these will be different colors. Green, red and yellow.

There is 11 different ways to make a winning combination. The symbols don’t mingle with each other, and you will need to hit similar sets of symbols to make a win. There are 2 scatter symbols, but it’s essentially just another symbol. This will be a single pepper, and a double pepper.

Where’s the Beef?

Loco 7’s doesn’t have any bonuses, free spins, or even a wild symbol. A wild symbol would have been a nice addition, but this isn’t what Loco 7’s is all about.

A true classic slot didn’t have wild symbols either. And since this game is designed to mimic that style of play, they have been left out.
