Probability
Probability is an apt name for a casino software producer. Or, was, as the company isn’t active anymore. They began operating in 2003, being amongst the first casino producers to emerge into global markets. They also were first in line when it came to mobile gaming, often presenting their games in the most popular online casinos.
Not much remains of the games themselves today. Titles like Mayan Moola, Knight’s Jackpot, Poseidon’s Kingdom, Gold Rush, Way of the Slot, and Loopy Lotto have long since disappeared even from history. And for a good reason as they are outdated for today's standards, though back in the day they did compete for the top spots.
The company operated in regulated markets together with emerging markets, and even some grey zones like US casino markets. Details are sketchy, as in lost due to time, but it seems that the company also operated its own sites.
What happened to the company? Well, it took a fair bit to dig up this information from old press releases. It seems that the company was bought by Gtech around 2014. The original Gtech on the other hand was sold to Lottomatica in 2006, which then adopted the name of the company. In 2015 this company then bought out IGT, and once again adopted the name.
And that’s pretty much everything there is to know about the company.
