Beat Meby Play'n Go

As a kid, I would often play silly card games to pass the time. One of my all-time favorites was War. It could take up a good chunk of time, and was fun to play. It was also one of the easiest games to learn that anyone could jump right in and play, and win.
Beat Me – from Play N Go, is a card game that is exactly like the classic War card game. Only in this version, you are betting for money.
If you like the idea of playing table games at a casino, but either don’t understand some of the rules in a game like Blackjack, Beat Me is the perfect choice to get your feet wet in table game casino gambling. It’s fun to play, easy to learn, and offers you the chance to beat the casino. Who doesn’t like that?
Beat Me Rules
Beat Me is a table game that faces you against the dealer. Both you and the dealer, are dealt one card face up. Whichever card has the higher value wins. A tie will deal out another card to each player to determine a winner.
The one caveat during a tie is that the dealer will get two more cards face down, and 1 face up. The final face up card is the one that determines a winner.
Beat Me is played using six decks of a standard 52 card deck. All cards act as face value, with Jacks, Queens, and Kings counting as 10. Aces are high and count as 11.
How to Play Beat Me
To place a bet, you click on the denomination of chip you want to use at the bottom right. Click on the circle on the table to place the bet. There is also a tie spot on the table where you can place a bet on the hand resulting in a tie.
To start the hand, just click on the deal button and the cards will be dealt out. Winning hands are paid out if your card Is higher, and losses collected if you lose. Begin a new game by clicking the deal button again.
You can keep using the same bet for each hand, so you don’t have to keep clicking on the table by clicking re-bet and then deal. If you wish to make a different size bet, you can click the clear button to pick your bet size.
Beat Me Betting and Pay Outs
Betting options range from $1, up to $100. You can bet up to $100 on each bet.
Winning hands pay out even money, or 1:1 odds. A tie will pay 10:1.
Even if a tie occurs and you lose the second draw, you will still win the tie bet.
Also during a tie, you can elect to surrender your hand which takes half your bet to the house, and the hand is over. You will also win the tie bet even if you surrender.
Beat the House
Playing a casino doesn’t get much easier. I’d like to call it a mindless game that has decent entertainment value. You can win up to $1,100 a hand if you are betting the maximum and win both the tie, and regular bet. Not too bad for a simple, and basic game.
The house edge is just under 3%, which makes it not all that bad compared to other table games. Much of this edge comes when players use the tie bet. As tempting as it can be, the tie bet has a relatively high house edge.
