About the Company

Pirates Gold Studios is a Los Angeles, California-based design studio for online and land-based slots and skill-based games. Through a distribution agreement with Pariplay, the developer's games should be available at Pariplay aggregator partner casinos online as well as on the casino floors of Foxwoods Resort in the US state of Connecticut.

The privately held company was launched in 2016 and specializes in Skill-Based Casual Casino Games, Casino Games, Casual Games, and Slots. Founded by four veterans of the entertainment industry, 'treasure games' with skill-based KPI's is what they are most known for so far. One of the co-founders of the company, Phuc Van Dinh, also founded an eSports event site called Efantz. Much of their Twitter feed is dedicated to multiplayer games like Elder Scrolls rather than gambling games.

Pirates Gold also worked in collaboration with GameCo to develop Pharaoh's Secret. The match-3 game was rolled out to casinos in New Jersey in early 2017.

Software and Games

The young company's portfolio of real money gambling games is still under development with a small handful of published titles. Cosmic Candy Heist is one of the titles that we find Pirates Gold holding trademarks for, but usually referred to as being developed by GameCo. The narrative of the game is on wherein players are tasked with traveling the globe to protect the world's candy from aliens who are bent on eating every confection on the planet. The arcade-type game is played on a 9x9 grid with power-ups. The goal is to match tiles for big rewards.

Pharaoh’s Secret Temple – Match3 is a similarly configured game which is set deep inside a secret Egyptian temple. Rather than jelly beans and other candies, the icons on this 9x9 arcade game are gleaming gems and well-known Egyptian symbols. Players are tasked with matching gems to be awarded prizes before the clock runs out. Look for features such as boosts, charms, power-up prizes, and traps.

Additional titles not created in conjunction with GameCo include The Deep Sea Adventure, as well as Match 3 titles The Secret Temple and The Fruit Frenzy Celebration. Not yet released is Destiny Stars.
