Oil Mania from NextGen features their new “Up-Wild” function on reels 2, 3, and 4. The game has 5 reels with three stop positions each and 25 paylines. There are no regular wild symbols, rather whenever the Oil Tycoon icon falls anywhere on reels 2, 3, or 4 an Oil Well will open up below that reel and grant three free spins. On the first spin oil will gush up to cover the lower position of the triggering reel with a wild symbol. On the second free spin the lowest and middle position will be awash in wild oil, and on your third free game the whole reel will be covered with oil making the reel wild.

The games can be retriggered with additional reels being gushed with wilds. Whenever a new Oil Tycoon appears that reel will open up its own well with Up-Wilds and the free game count will be rest to 3 free games. At any time during the bonus up to six reel positions can be wild.
