Elements: The Awakeningby Net Entertainment

Elements: The Awakening is a 20-line animated video bonus slots game released by Net Entertainment (Netent) in December 2012. Like most of the newer Netent games you won't find traditional spinning reels, rather the symbols fall into place against a highly themed background that remains static in the base game. The game features Avalanche reels. With this feature you are paid for line wins and then the symbols involved in the win explode and are replaced by other symbols dropping in from above. There is an avalanche meter that keeps track of these up to a total of 4 Avalanches. There is also an Energy meter that keeps track of the leading elements so far in the game. Elements counted are Earth, Wind, Fire and Water.

Four successive Avalanches will trigger the free fall mode dictated by the leading element. Free Falls are free games and they come in batches of ten. Each element also has a wild symbol in Free Fall mode with a behavior relative to that element. Firestorm Wilds can spread in any direction, Air Storm wilds move to another adjacent reel for the next Free Fall, Earth Storm wilds are stationary and remain on the game screen until an event removes them, these events include being part of a win line, 3 avalanches, or no more wins. Water Storm wilds simply expand to cover an entire reel.
