Paper Boy from Union Jackpots is a classic chase fruity and the main feature consists of you and a dog. The dog is controlled by the machine. There is always the same start and jackpot positions similar to a 'trail to the end' slots game. Along the trail you will find positions that offer cash amounts, features, mysteries and nudges. In the feature game you will spin a reel with 12 positions to move along the path. Collect or risk it all anywhere along the way. Your goal is to reach the jackpot (end of trail) before the dog catches you. You will spin the reel and move the number of positions awarded, and then the dog will spin and try to catch you.

In the base reel chase game there are three reels with 16 stops each. The various fruit combinations award prizes and you may collect or gamble them for a seed into the main feature. Fill the trail to position 8 or get 3 overlaid numbers in a row to advance to the main feature game. Holds are awarded randomly and nudges can be won at random, a skill chance or via dapple. The are also six nudge pot positions on the feature trail.
