Jacks or Better is a straight-forward unembellished game of video draw poker and the grand daddy of alll video poker games. There are no wild cards and the pay table reflects nothing but standard poker hand rankings with no obfuscated payouts for so-called bonus hands like certain four of a kind hands. Each step up the ranking simply pays more because it is a more difficult hand to form. As the name implies you will need at least a pair of Jacks to win. The top paying hand is a Royal Flush which consists of 10, J, Q, K and Ace all same suit, followed immediately by Straight Flush – any suited straight such as 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. Riyal flush pays a bonus when betting all five coins, regardless of the coin value.

Bet up to 5 credits per round with each worth 0.25, 0.50. 1.00 or 5.00. Click DEAL to receive your initial five cards. After examining the pay table and your possibilities click on any cards you would like to hold and press DEAL again to discard and replace the others. If the final hand ranks at least a pair of Jacks, you win! Jacks, Queens, Kings or Aces pay even money. Flush pays 6:1 and Full House pays 9:1. You will have the option to collect your winnings or risk them in a doubling game.
