The object of Caribbean Draw Poker is to get a better ranking poker hand than the dealer – dealer will need a pair of 8's or better to qualify. There is an optional side-bet if you want to go for the progressive jackpot. After placing your bet(s) press the DEAL button and you will receive five cards face up. The dealer will also receive a 5-card poker hand but only one of his cards will be visible to you. At this point the progressive jackpot side-bet is settled. If your hand ranks three of a kind or better you will receive your payout for the side bet regardless of the strength of your hand compared to the dealer's. A Royal Flush will award 100% of the progressive jackpot and a Straight Flush will return 2500:1.
For the ante game the dealer mus have at least a pair of 8's. If he doesn't then you will get your raise bet back plus paid 1:1 for the ante. If the dealer does have at least a pair of 8's and beats your hand you lose both bets, if your hand is superior you collect 1:1 on both bets.
