This Americanized version of the Chinese tiles game of Pai Gow is played with a 53 card poker deck – a standard deck with an added Joker. The Joker is good for Aces, Straights, and Flushes. If the Joker can not substitute in a Flush or Straight it is counted simply as an Ace. The only rule (outside of poker hand rankings) that players need to remember is that when separating the seven dealt cards into a five-card, and two-card poker hand is that the five card hand must rank superior to the 2 card hand. Click the “House Way” button and you won't even need to remember this rule. Pressing “House Way” causes the gaming software to segregate the two best possible hands.
Place your bet, receive the cards, make two poker hands. If both hands outrank the dealer you win the game. If one hand wins and one hand loses the game is a tie. If one hand wins and the other is a tie, player wins. If one hand is a tie and the dealer wins one hand, dealer wins. If both hands are a copy, dealer wins. If dealer has two superior hands, dealer wins.
