In all but a few video poker games the ultimate hand is a Royal Flush (10, J, Q, K, A all same suit any order). It usually pays 250:1 when betting 1-4 coins and 800:1 when betting all five coins of any value. Split Way Royal adds another sort of Royal Flush to the top of the pay table, inappropriately called the 'Low Royal'. A Low Royal is a Straight Flush (5 cards that can be arranged in sequential order all of the same suit) running from 2 through 6. The Low Royal pays the same as a true Royal Flush.
The reason a straight flush that runs from 10-A is called Royal, is that it contains the Queen and King . The pay table, Return to Player percentage and other card rankings could remain the same were this bonus poker to select any other range of cards for a straight flush.
