In Pyramid Poker you have the option of betting on as many as three hands at a time, all built from a five card base hand. The first three cards, all five, and the last three. The first coin wagered applies to the five card hand, add another coin and the pay table for the first three-card hand is activated, add another coin and the pay table for the last three card poker hand is activated. The pay table for the fist three is better than that for the last three, and the five card hand pay table is standard Jacks or Better. Bet up to 5 coins each hand, or 15 coins total.
Bets are displayed as 0,0,0 and pressing Bet One a fourth time places 2 coins on the five card hand so the display will read 0,2,0. Another press of the button and it will read 2,2,0 – another and it displays 2,2,2. Following this we see that another press will result in 3 coins on the five card hand and none on either of the three-card hands thus 0,3,0. It is not possible to bet 5 coins on the first hand, 5 on the next and any number but 5 on the last. To avoid any confusion you may always press Bet Max which will stake 15 coins of any value.
