Theme
As you can guess, the theme of At the Movies is based on movies. While there is no exact movie title it portrays, instead, the slot is homage to movies themselves. The experiences, the sounds and everything that goes along with going to the movies is well depicted.

Once you see the slot, you will immediately its catchy 3D graphics that pop off the screen. The design is made to look like you are at a drive in Movie Theater in the old days. There’s a big movie marquee over the top of slot, with various movie related icons used as the controls. Popcorn, soda and movie reels all act as the buttons used for game play.

General Information
At the Movies uses the traditional 5 reels and has 25 pay lines. You can bet as little as $0.02 per spin, or up to $0.50 a line. The max bet using all coins and all lines would be $125 per spin.

The wild symbol are the 2 ghost masks. Without getting too technical, they are the masks used in theatre to display sadness and happiness. Anyway, the wild symbol replaces all other symbols except the scatter. Any win with a wild symbol is doubled.

Graphics and Experience
Paying this slot was a terrific experience. Anytime I play a new slot, I expect to see the same old generic style. I was pleased to see something creative and actually worth playing. The 3D graphics aren’t amazing, but they are satisfying and look quite nice. The symbols do have animated cut scenes whenever a win is triggered, which was pretty cool.

Overall, At the Movies is a great video slot. The doubled wins during free spins and wild payouts is a nice addition. Having just a free spin bonus is a little underwhelming, but you can win a good bit during this mode.
