B-Live Gaming
Make note that B-Live Gaming is no longer an active company, and its products are no longer available anywhere.
Founded in 2009, the company was originally headquartered in Malta, but first started operating in the Netherlands, after which they moved into the busiest bingo market of all, the UK. From the very beginning, the company was invested in its own live bingo product. According to information we have dug up, it took between three and four years for their product to go through testing and development, until it was finally released.
The company gathered several bingo awards when they first started operating, but were soon hit with the realities of the trade. The company was also investing in similar technology to expand into table games such as blackjack and roulette. However, as bingo sites themselves started closing down, and concentrating on just a handful of networks, the few clients that B-Live Gaming had, such as Bingocams, soon abandoned ship too.
As it turns out, both the sites and the company itself were connected to Dazzletag Entertainment. They fall under Begame Group today, with no mention of the B-Live Gaming brand to be found anywhere. It’s hard to say when the business went bust, though we do know that the company failed to offer much in the way of updates or innovations since its initial setup. The sites offering these games, or in any way connected to the company, seem to have at last closed up in 2023.
Live Bingo
What were the big innovations?
Well, it was a live bingo that took advantage of webcams. In short, both the players and the chat hosts could use webcams to bring the gaming experience to a new level. Hosts would naturally be featured much more often, with the idea of offering live cams for players was to bring in their winning moments. And as you can imagine, there was the option to not use webcams, as naturally not every player was comfortable with streaming their presence online.
Other than this, the experience relied on 90-ball and 75-ball bingo games. Just like with other bingo networks, such as the modern one from Pragmatic Play, the games were organised by different rooms. These offered a variety of options, from cheap tickets to slightly bigger jackpots.
Conclusion
Ultimately, the downfall of the company is rather easy to see. Online bingo itself is very concentrated, in just a handful of platforms. At the same time, B-Live Gaming was only ever available in a handful of sites run by the same company. Never expanding their reach led to a situation where they couldn’t update what they were offering to the same level as their competitors. And at the end of the day, the innovation wasn’t all that enticing for most players.
