This version of Vegas Strip blackjack varies from their Downtown Vegas game in only two ways. One of the rules gives a slight advantage to the player over the Downtown game and the other is not important to the outcome. The first difference is that the dealer will stand on all 17, hard or soft in Vegas Strip blackjack – the statistical difference is very slight but tangible so this is the preferred game for serious players. The other difference is in the number of decks used. In Vegas Strip blackjack the game is played with 4 decks rather than 2. But as there is only player seat and the decks are shuffled between every game, counting cards is f no use in either game. If some element of edge could be calculated it would be offset by the soft 17 rule and this game would remain the favorite.
