As an American hole card game the dealer will get one card up and one card down. The dealer will peek at his hole card if the up card is an ace or of a 10 value. If he has Blackjack the game will end. If you also have BJ the game is a tie and your wager is returned. This saves risking more money by doubling or splitting if the dealer has Blackjack, this isn't possible in European Blackjack.

Dealer stands on all 17's and you can double down any first dealt hand or after a split. Split up to 3 times but aces can only be split once and each receives only one card. Split any 10 value cards even if they aren't a pair.
