The gaming is hot and hungry with BBQ Keno from Vista Gaming.

BBQ Keno is a typical Keno game that is based around a theme of cooking out on your BBQ. The design is a bit generic in my opinion, with its board full of steak over a poorly designed BBQ pit. It looks like a bunch of pink blobs over an orange background.

While I am a bit disappointed with the lack of design, the game itself plays well and does have a good pay out structure. This is more important than design for my personal taste. I’m willing to deal with poor looks, so long as the pay outs are rewarding.

BBQ Keno Rules

BBQ Keno is a 15 ball Keno game that has an 80 ball board. Your goal is to pick some numbers and hope the computer picks the ones you have. You can play between 1 and 15 numbers a game. The pay outs will be based on how many numbers played, and how much is wagered.

Betting is available in 3 increments. The lowest bet is $0.05, and goes to $0.10 and then $0.25.

How to Play BBQ Keno

To begin a game, you first choose how many numbers to play by using the button at the bottom. Once you figure out how many numbers to play, you can start to pick the numbers. This is accomplished by clicking on the specific numbers on the board. Or, by using the random button that will pick all numbers for you.

Once all numbers are picked, you can select how much to play each game for. The bet amount button is located on the left hand side under the payout table.

To initiate a game, simply click the play button. If you want to play more than 1 game using the same numbers and bet amount, you can use the auto play button to play up to 60m games in a row without having to keep making new selections.

The turbo button located next to the auto play, allows you to adjust the speed of the game. In normal mode, the balls drop slowly and take a bit of time to complete a game. When the turbo mode is checked, the game goes much faster.

After all numbers have been selected on the board, you will either win, or lose based on how many numbers you picked correctly.

BBQ Keno Payouts

Each amount of numbers played will have varying pay outs. The more played, the more you stand to win. Below is a list of how many numbers will pay out based on how many numbers are played.

3 numbers pay 3
4 numbers pay 4
5 numbers pay 5
6 numbers pay 6
7 numbers pay 7
8 numbers pay 8
9 numbers pay 9
10 numbers pay 9
11 numbers pay 10
12 numbers pay 10
13 numbers pay 11
14 umbers pay 12
15 numbers pay 13

In this version of Keno, more numbers will pay out. But, the amount you win will be smaller compared to 10 ball Keno. It will also pay out every number until you get up to 10, which again is very different than 10 ball Keno.

The maximum win when playing all 15 numbers at the $0.25 bet level is $2,500 if you get all 15 numbers correct.

BBQ Keno Conclusion

BBQ Keno does have its pros and cons. The design is the biggest downfall. The real decision will be deciding on what type of pay outs you like. If you want more numbers paying out, but harder to get the top prize, BBQ Keno does just that.

The one benefit of having more numbers pay out, is that you will not lose as much if you go on a bad run. Getting some of your money back will help to keep you in the game longer, giving you a better chance at hitting the top prize.
