Jacks or Betterby Parlay Entertainment

This is the game that started it all. Jacks or Better Video Poker was the first draw poker game developed for play in Las Vegas by Si Redd. The pay table is a little shy on the Parlay Entertainment version but not terrible. Players usually look for a 9/6 game and this one pays 8/5. These numbers refer to the payouts for Full House and Flush respectively. Players don't need to calculate the over all odds when they see these numbers. The difference is not terrible, and plenty of online providers offer the same pay table.
Choose a coin value between 0.05 and 5.00, bet one to five coins per game. Notice the dramatic jump from the 4-coin payout to the 5-coin award. Obviously it is better to bet all five coins of a lower value than less than five coins of any value. Press Deal to receive five cards. Click on the ones you want to hold and the others will be discarded and replaced when you press the Draw button. Your final hand will be compared to the pay table and winnings awarded. Winning hands can be risked in a double or nothing game against the dealer cutting for high card. Collect if you win or double again.
