If you and the dealer each get blackjack on this Tom Horn game it will be considered a push and your bet will be returned. To try to gain an edge you may wish to try to take advantage of the splitting and doubling rules of this game. You will be able to split matched cards, i.e. 10/10 or 9/9 but 10/Q, or J/K are splits that are not allowed. Players may split Aces is this game. The maximum number of splits per seat is once for a total of two hands.

Doubling down is allowed when your initial two cards have a value of 9, 10, or 11. If you take this option you will receive a single card and your hand will stand. The bet for doubling is the same as your initial bet for the hand. Doubling is allowed only once per hand and you may not double after a split.
