This single hand, single deck blackjack is a well known game among strategy players who wish to keep their focus on the slim house edge. Players can find faster game play on one of the multihand version including US or EU blackjack from The Art of Games. Players may double down on a two card count of 9, 10, or 11. Split Aces and each will receive a single card. If a split Ace is dealt a 10 value card it counts only as 21, not blackjack. Only one split is allowed, and only matched cards 10/10, 9/9 may be split but not 10/J, etc. Dealer stands on all 17's.
