Pontoon is a form of blackjack played against the dealer and is dealt from 8 standard decks of 52 cards. You can play up to 3 hands at a time. If your first two cards in a hand add up to 21 you have Pontoon which pays 2:1. Three or more cards adding up to 21 are simply a count of 21 and do not count as Pontoon. Between you and the dealer, the hand closest to 21 without going over wins.

If your card count is 21 with 3 or more cards and it ties the dealer's hand you lose the bet. However if you get five cards that add up to exactly 21 you win 2:1 regardless of the dealers hand.
