European Roulette is played on a wheel and table with 37 numbers, 0-36. The object of the game is to predict which number the ball will land on after the wheel has been spun. A straight-up bet predicts a specific number and pays 36:1. You have a 1:36 chance to win and 1:37 chance to lose and this represents the house edge. Bets can be placed on the single green zero as well as any of the numbers. Bets can also be placed to predict whether the color will be red or black or the number odd or even.
