Game play is faster in the video version of this game by Grand Virtual CIDC, but it uses the same standard 48-card Spanish deck with 10's removed. The rules for Barcelona 21 Blackjack are the most liberal rules available for any blackjack game except possibly Anything Goes Blackjack from GV. Play 1-3 hands per game. The dealer will hit soft 17 but players can double down on any two cards, and may double after a split.

Split up to four hands per seat for a maximum of twelve stakes per game. Re-split Aces, hit split Aces, take a late surrender, get paid for five cards under 22 and take the double down rescue if things aren't looking so good. That's a lot of fun to trade for pulling four cards out of the deck, and once you get used to the new odds this could well become a favorite game!
