Perfect Pairs Blackjack is basic Vegas Blackjack with a few twists. To play you make a side bet that your first two cards dealt will be a pair. There is more than kind of Pair to be had though - a Perfect Pair is 2 identical cards, same number/face, same suit. (This is possible because the game is dealt from a 6 or 8 deck shoe depending on the casino. Bodog uses the 6 deck shoe). A 'colored pair' are two cards of the same value and color, and a 'mixed pair' is two cards of different color but same number/face. Any Pair will pay odds on your side bet with the best returns going to a Perfect Pair. Common payouts fro pairs are; Perfect Pair 30:1, Colored Pair 12:1, any Mixed Pair 5:1. The rest of the game is played per the table/felt rules like any other Blackjack game.
